Title: One Last Shot is now available for viewing on Swearnet!
Post by: shake on Oct 28, 2017, 07:50 AM
THIS IS WHAT WE ALL HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!

As part of Swearnet State of the Union the boys have included the short film as a tribute to John Dunsworth.  This was the genesis of Mr. Lahey, and was shot in 1998 even before TPB even existed!  Thanks boys!

Just watched it, very interesting!  I am pretty sure the place where they were eating, and later dancing was The Economy Shoe Shop, a popular spot on Argyle St which it turns out the boys now own!  You can read about the bar here

So this was the first movie? even before that black and white one where ricky and julian are guns for hire, and bubbles is a soundman?

Yes OLS came out in 98, the first Trailer Park Boys movie, the b & w one, came out in 99.  OLS was more of a short film than a movie.  JP and Robb don't play Julian and Ricky, rather two other blokes.  John Dunsworth plays a character called Mr.  Lahey but there are no trailer parks involved.  The character JD played was transformed into the park supervisor in the trailer park.
