The UFL will begin play in Oct. 2009, a 6 game season in 6 U.S. cities.
New York/Harford,Las Vegas, San Francisco/Sacremento, Orlando.Future expansion may include teams in Mexico, & possibly Canada

 Quite a few of the players have had NFL experience. The Florida Tuskers went undefeated through the regular season 6-0 then lost the Championship game to The Las Vegas Locomotives by a field goal in OT.I found the Championship game as exciting as the Grey Cup that Montreal snaked from SSK

About a month ago it was announced that The New York Sentinels would relocate to Hartford, Conn. & become The Hartford Colonials. Also that The California Redwoods would relocate & become The Scaramento Mountain Lions. The UFL site has been redesigned

Today is announced that the 5th team in the UFL will located in Omaha,Nebraska
A fan based contest will name the team choices include;
Mustangs, Stags, Navigators, or Spirit, There will also be a write-in option so fans can suggest their own ideas
UFL slogan; 'The UFL- It's all about U'

Season 3 will start in August 2011, still only 5 teams The Florida Tuskers have relocated to Virginia & will be know as The Virginia Destroyers & will play in my hometown of Va. Beach,Va.
The XFL was 1 & done Get ready for The UFL 3.0
