the nursery job is going *swimmingly* in fact, he likes me so much that i'm the big kahuna all week this week whilst the boss is off delivering trees....i'm in charge of the whole office, and payroll etc....which rocks.....the downside is that once i got hired, i realized that i would have to train myself....the boss is nice enough, but clueless...doesnt even know how to check his own email, and fired the other office girl within a week of hiring me, so, i'm teaching myself! Luckily, it's not a huge operation and i'm picking it up as i go.....SOOOOOOOOO.....should any of you need any plants/trees, holla holla because i do get commission over and above my hourly and we *do* offer free delivery! actually, the job is pretty sweet....i spend my days hanging out with his dog (super sweet boxer mix) in the office and calling/faxing places to place orders/checking email orders/answering phones to take orders.etc etc etc. plus, i think (and know through my friend who hooked me up with the job...friend of a friend deal) that he likes my no bullshit attitude.....ive already had to tell him once that im willing to learn anything, but i don't have ESPN dammit, and i can't read his mind....and from what i see, he respected that.
ps tiggy, i don't go near the plants...i KNOW i'm a plant killer, even though i concealed that from him in the interview (LOL)
