Treevenge won the Fantastic Fest Online best short award this year in Austin TX. Some TPB people worked and starred in the short film. Sarah and Jon Torrens were a husband and wife. Jason Eisener and Rob Cotterill were part of the production/writing team.

Not that I'm aware of Refuck. I do know they'll be showing the whole thing at Bubble's Mansion on Monday night from 8PM till 11:55.

I would, but I work. Too bad it wasn't Tuesday... well, even if it was Tuesday I'd be watching the Canadiens/Bruins game haha.

I wish I could make it, unfortunately for me Halifax is a long ways away; and even though Park City, Utah is closer- I can't make Sundance this year either- gotta work too! ...fucking NBC! :(

Still, I wish Sarah & Jono and all the cast/crew all the best! :)

Saw it again tonight and it was better than the first time. I saw things the second time around I missed the first time. Same thing happens with TPB :)
John and Sarah Dunsworth were there as were Rob Cotterill and Jason Eisener. Got to speak with John and Sarah and Rob and they were as nice as always.
Next stop...Sundance.

Treevenge is up on the net in it's entirety...NSFW(language)

As the site says, let it buffer for a while as it's a large, good quality file.

I finally saw it! LOL...damn it was good. It was just what I needed. I was lamenting my current financial situation and some other bad, bad things going on in JAG land as I wandered around that hallowed halls of WalMart today. (ack!) They have the whole garden centre set up for Christmas...  :(  :x Just what I wanted to see...I have 4 little boys that are all excited about all the upcoming holidays...one son has a birthday on 29 October, then on 30 October we have 2 Halloween parties (school and BoyScouts) then 31 October is Halloween and 1  November is ANOTHER son's birthday!  :drugged:

After that, it is full steam ahead towards Christmas...with a pit stop for our Thanksgiving of course.

I am standing there, looking at all the twinkling lights and the trees in all colours and shapes and sizes and I wanted to scream...GO AWAY! Which sucks because I LOVE Christmas! I LOVE to give gifts...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I think that's why I do so much volunteer work...I love to give others something they just could not give themselves.

This year, all I want to do is save my house from being foreclosed on.

"Treevenge" was JUST what I needed. I've lightened up QUITE a bit after watching that. LOL! It was great!

Sorry about the vent...this is really about the movie. I love it when a movie or a book or whatnot can give you that bit of escapism for a little while. That's how I judge a good book or movie. :)

I met Henry Townsend who did the special effects for Treevenge. Really cool guy and he also won an award for his efforts in SE. Hope to see more from him.
