Sorry I didn't say goodbye this afternoon. I had to pull the plug in a hurry as the people moving into the place wanted me out of the way.
I'm at Matt's place right now and will be sleeping here tonight and looking for a room to rent this week. Still going to have spotty internet access but just wanted to let you know I am doing alright.

If  you have a laptop may I suggest getting a mobile card from futureshop and leech until you have a solid connection. My classmates do that all the time at our university because our campus doesn't have WI-FI but we are under an apartment building which many people have wireless internet modems

only a suggestion, though I really don't support leeching off of others internet connections but who knows if anyone around me has been leeching becasue we have a wireless one but can't seem to secure it

I have a laptop with wireless connection but the battery is fucked. It has to be plugged into AC. Since I don't have a place of my own right now, I'm using a friends laptop at their house. If I didn't have that, I wouldn't be on the net. Very good suggestion 'though JM 8) Thanks.

Oh that sucks. laptop being fucked and batteries so expensive. I will always stick to desktops because I have heard too many laptop horror stories and if I have one I would be tempted to take it to class and waste my time there when I am paying good money to continue my education

I have managed to get my laptop up and running so I'll be a bit noisier ;) The generosity I have run into here in Halifax is overwhelming. People wanting to help you out without expecting anything in return. I love my friends and this place and hope to have my own home here soon. It's also really nice to have my ORG friends too. I can take you guys with me anywhere I go. 8)

No sale on the house yet Walter. Came close the other day. Going to upgrade the bathroom while I'm here so it has a bath in it. Beyond that, all I can hope is that the right person, with money, comes along and wants it. I hope yours sells soon too. By Christmas would be nice :D

I'm at my parent's place right now so I do have internet. I'll be staying in my empty house a couple of nights and unless there is a wireless connection for my laptop, those will be the times I'll be missing. Thanks for all the good wishes.
