PREPARE PREPARE PREPARE

I don't even have a book yet, so I'll likely be basing in on who has the biggest stick.

Can someone explain how this works , so I can decide if I can do it? I'm used to the slow draft , so wasn't expecting to be glued to my computer for many hours straight .........

it'll only take about 1:15-1:30 depending on how fast people are.  You go to Yahoo, sign in to the league page, click on draft central, and 15 minutes before the draft, it'll pick draft order, when it starts, you click on the guy you want.

i'd much rather spend a couple hours one night instead of being tied down for at least 2 weeks doing a slow one.

I'm trying to do the draft from work today. Usually the firewall won't let me but the test seemed to work. Here's hoping.

you can let the computer draft for you.  Usually it's not a bad team.  Party's a party.

The draft is at 5 west coast time right?  Or is it 6?  Still lots of time for a drinkypoo after that.

They better be there before 1/2 hour before, that's when the random order is done I think.

I let the computer pick for me. I figured I would just pick the person next on the list any ways. Just got home and had a look at my team. Not too shabby. Does anyone know what
# I was?

Fuck figures I was # 1, if I had been there I would have ended up 10th.

1.     (1)     Sidney Crosby     C
2.    (16)    Ryan Getzlaf    C
3.    (17)    Marc-Andre Fleury    G
4.    (32)    Mike Green    D
5.    (33)    Sergei Gonchar    D
6.    (48)    Paul Stastny    C
7.    (49)    Brian Campbell    D
8.    (64)    Simon Gagne    LW
9.    (65)    Jose Theodore    G
10.    (80)    Nikolai Zherdev    RW
11.    (81)    Brad Boyes    RW
12.    (96)    Bryan McCabe    D
13.    (97)    Paul Kariya    LW
14.    (112)    Jonathan Cheechoo    RW
15.    (113)    John-Michael Liles    D
16.    (128)    Jeff Carter    C
17.    (129)    Vesa Toskala    G
18.    (144)    Jason Blake    LW
19.    (145)    Wojtek Wolski    LW
20.    (160)    Michael Ryder    RW

Weak in goalie. D is strong, C too. LW and RW weak too.

Yahoos rankings on some of these players is weird.

you had #1, Yahoo picked 3 C, 3D 1g before any wingers.  Overall not too bad though, for letting the computer pick.

My brother gave me a list of his targets and he got almost all of his that he wanted.  He got all the goalies he wanted, which is weird.  No saku though, so i changed his team name.
