Pete's in again as well.

That makes 7.....We need 8 minimum...I would love more is possible.....

As for the draft.....I know it's early but I will be away for 4 days in Aug,from 16th-20th with no computer access. First game is on Sept 4th. I don't think we can draft that fast. So I think we need to start thinking about starting it ASAP.

We need at least one more person and we can get this going....

Anyone have a preference on when would be good?  Sunday nights are probably best for most.
I can set up a league on Yahoo and see if I can get a slot for drafting on the 10th or 17th of August.

Sounds good to me. I set up a league page a couple of weeks ago...imported the same scoring settings ec..as last year. Let me see if I can change the draft type....

edit: yup I can change it to a live draft.

Just let me know when....and we need more peeps

edited again to say: If we don't get anymore people we could deepen the rosters to keep it challenging.

If you need an extra person I'd be happy to give it a go. I was a Brian Westbrook touchdown away from the championship in my league last year (you know... that game he decided to kneel down at the one yard line!)

So I'm game as long as it's for fun and no money involved. Though I don't think I could make it to any live, in person drafts.

Hi ssteiner we'd be happy to have you join us. :D

We do usually play for a small amount of cash. 20 bucks each...winner take all. It's a pretty lax system. We just wait till the end of the season and everyone sends the Champ their 20$, either via paypal or mail.. It surprisingly works out....... I don't think we've had to many non-payments.

That said, for me it's more about the competition and the bragging rights so I'd be happy with a just for fun league if it means more people would join.

i guess 20 bucks at the end of the season isn't bad. I'm in the same league I had last year too and everyone pays 50 bucks.

You can count me in for fun or 20 bucks... whatever the consensus wants to do. My e-mail is steve_steiner@hotmail.com if you want to e-mail me specific info.

can't wait!

Cool. Welcome to our league Steve!

Now we all still need to come to a consensus regarding 2 things.

Are we playing for money or just for fun?

Live draft on yahoo or slow draft here?

Sorry guys, I'm a bit too busy right now to hold down the basement again ;) although I really liked it last year. Loved the fact I could use the live tracker during the games. Big time fun.
