Hey y'all! I've been asked this question by a several fans who are considering attending the USA Big Dirty 'red carpet' premiere... thinking of buying plane tickets, etc. in advance...

Does anyone have any official information relating to January 25th being the definite date of the event?

No idea but it you really need to know for travel arrangements etc you might want to try contacting TPB Productions to see if they can provide some offical information for you.

Uh, just looked the website I mentioned above and I've noticed a couple of glaring typos - first of all it is JuliAN, not Julien, and Ricky was never married to Lucy in the first place (as far as I recall - he was not remarrying her?? )

Come on nerds, get it fixed up!  ;)

They are nerds. The closest thing that ricky has come to marriage in the series is a wedding ceremony that never got completed and no signing of a marriage liscence so they were never married.

And for gods sakes look at the damn trailer. It should have clued them in on the proper spelling of his name.

I like the US trailers more than the canadian trailers. at least it makes the movie make more sense. but as they do in the us they focused on the stuff that in all the articles the boys originally tried to fight against with making the movie.

I don't know much about the US movie scene, so can someone explain to me whether 'NY/LA' is bigger and better than a 'Limited' release or not? I guess if the movie does well it would get a wider release eventually.

Any ideas how many theatres may show the movie? (Apart from not enough...  :()

I've just checked www.trailerparkboysusa.com (the proper spelled site, lol) and the theatres and showtimes have been updated. There's not exactly a big list of theatres... Is that good? Bad? Promising?

since there are way too many TPB fans here in Huntsville for it not to screen here; I am talking to some local theater owner friends of mine and getting them to chat with the distribution co. Cavu Pictures.

Hopefully we'll get it here in Feb.

Does anyone perchance know if any of the current screening locations are Rave Motion Pictures theaters or any affiliation with them? I send emails to TPB people but they never reply. :(

we really have no idea where the film is screening in the usa, and to be honest i have not actually looked it up, just because i am too busy. this is all in the hands of the distributor, so not answering can be explained by not having an answer to give. but suffice it to say that we are stoked that the film is finally going to hit american audiences. it will maybe inspire up when we shoot the sequel this summer.
