On our receipts at work there's a chance for customers to fill out a survey for a chance to win something. We've been receiving lots of bad comments about our store, a few good comments, but mostly negative things. I honestly believe that the staff at my store are some of the best in the mall & that it unfair that we look like we're horrible people because of these comments. Anyway, I would just like to encourage anyone who shops in a store that has a really positive customer service experience to fill out the survey if one is available, you really do make a difference.

Most folks only fill those out when they want to mention a negative experience.  For what its worth, I actually try and fill them out regardless.  I think a lot of that has to be taken with a grain of salt.  Folks are more likley to rant if they are pissed.  One negative experience and someone tells two folks.. and they tell two folks.. and so on.  We all learned that from Wayne Campbell.

I hope your team gets the recognition y'all deserve.

Everytime I think of you at Chapters I picture you walking into farts.  Sorry Erin.

Much Luv!

LOL! That's what I get for telling all my fart tales. Brophy, I'm sure the stores you fill out the surveys for do appreciate it, so keep on truckin! Another reason it makes me angry that we recieve so many negative comments is that with each one, my boss gets into trouble from the regional manager. I'm sure that I could never find another boss who is as great as this one, she does not deserve this negative attention.

On another note: Sometimes I get strange looks from customers because I tend to dance & sing to the music we play while I'm at the register. I don't completely rock out or anything, it's just a little hip action (maybe some arm action) & softly singing the lyrics to the CD we're listening to.
