I am not getting pop ups from IE anymore. I'm still getting Trojan wanrings from Avast though. And the computer is constantly crashing and going to a Blue Screen that says something about the memory begin over loaded and that the computer shut down to protect itself.
I'm going to run a disk defragment, then after that I am going to use my Windows XP disk and see iof there is a "repair" option to try and replace all the system files  I was forced to delete when trying to get rid of all the spyware/adware/trojans/viruses.
If none of that works I am going to have to reformat the whole computer and reinstall Windows.

All of this bullshit because of some fucking MSN virus.

I can't wait to get a Mac. The machines are built not to understand viruses and spyware.
I was told that if you can manage to ruin a Mac that you may as well not even butter toast.

I did what you said... not really sure if it worked.
I ran it and put the disk in. I then let the computer sit for a few hours... no notifications of anything as of yet saying its done or whatever...
I know what you meant about how it doesn't give info about how its running, it just kind of secretly runs in the background but does it give any notification of what happened or does it do its job and that it...

Fuck.
Computer just fucking crashed again.
Every time is crashes, it goes to a blue screen saying that the computer has been shutdown to protect it self.
It also says to check for BIOS updates and it says something about disabling BIOS shadowing and caching... whatever that is?
I noticed at the bottom it listed a DLL file.
"nv4_dip.dll"
 Not sure if any of that info is going to help me out but I hope so.

EDIT:
I googled the nv4_disp.dll
Turns out the computer is crashing because of my video card.
Basically I have to uninstall the video card and then re-install it to fix the problem.
Wish me luck :roll:

Spybot Search + Destroy

does a good job of removing spyware, and Spyware Blaster

http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/

I updated my BIOS... went from A03 to A12 :P
After that I un-installed and re-installed my video card.
This seems to have worked. Computer hasn't crashed since. We'll see in the next little while though what happens.
Haven't gotten anymore trojan warnings either... once again, we'll see.
Every time I think I fix the problem, it seems to come back so right now I'm still not sure if its totally fixed.
I still haven't had a chance to do the defragment. I'm going to do that over night along with a bunch of Spyware/Adware/Trojans/Viruses scans... this is overwhelming :P

Computer stated crashing and going to that blue screen again :x All day without doing it.
I am pretty sure its loss of system files.
I tried to do that scan you recommended myspaceadmin but I don't even get the bar showing what percentage of completion its on.
Not sure if this is ever going to end.

I know of computer that have alot of problems. In Xp there is a little rewind function. I like to try that before anything is done. It is in the control panel. This way you are less likely to lose files and It has save points form the last two months. I remeber doing this to a computer that had slowed down and kept freezing the computer and it instantly fixed the problem. If that doesn't work then save all your files you don't want to lose and then do a system restore because most of the computers today come with another hard drive to save jsut in case. and also if it came with a repair wizard cd ust that and select these functions from there as well.

-Open control panel
-Open Administrative Tools
-Open Event Viewer
-You'll see "Application", "Security" and "System".  Check each one for errors, especially ones that occurred at the time of your crash.

This will help you narrow in on the problem.

As for Macs I don't want to get into a huge argument with anyone here, being a new guy and all but long story short, I usually recommend my clients stay away from them.
