Well seeing as how they wont be filming for awhile i guess it will be easyer to get into the park. I dont think they will have security guards their since their not going to be filming. Maybe? Maybe not?

I kind of figured that if piss jugs actually existed they weren't any common....that they pose a problem in certain states elicits a real LOL from me. Thanks for posting that

imho Two of the greatest series from USA came to an end on a really crappy note.  MASH and Seinfeld.  The last couple of seasons when Alan Alda became writer and producer of MASH were just sappy and sucky.

I liked season 7.  I hope no matter what the boys do always rocks.  This show is genius, and it's producers and writers will certainly do many things worthwhile in the future.

Again, just a humble opinion from a guy that loves the park.

I wonder if the boys will be involved in any other side projects or appear in other stuff during their break from the park? That would be deeecent.

I was initially thinking this is the end of the show. However, I was reminded of the way the Sopranos season were filmed and now I feel better.

The conclusion of the sopranos was shitty at best.  I see from the forums that Mike will be directing a new series.  I think that TPB will get fuk'd in the end.

Also, piss jugs serve a useful purpose when yo are out on your boat for a # of hours.
Damn it sucks not being able to see the episodes first hand again!!!

The "new series" that Clattenburg directed is a 13 part series based on a novel, it was produced in November.  It is not an ongoing thing.

i really liked the film "A Hole In One" which Robb, JP and Mike S. were in, if any of you guys haven't seen that it's definitely worth checkin' out even tho they had little screentime in it, it was overall a really fuckin' crazy movie.. also stars Meatloaf and the blonde from Dawsons Creek.. whats her name?...

anyway when I chatted with Mike S. about it he told me they made a 30,000$ animatronic replica of his head for the scene he was in and they have it locked in a warehouse somewhere and won't let him have it... thats kinda fucked- we should petition the production dicks to give Bubbs his robot-head back! I think he deserves it =P

heres a link to the site: http://www.aholeinonethemovie.com/

anyway... I hope they do an Easter Special in '08!  ..like they start selling dope-chocolates or something... hahaha.. I just want to see a crazy fuckin' scene like Ricky gettin arrested and throwing eggs at cops in front of a church! :P

Yeah. I hated it when they wouldn't give my mechanical head back. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Just wanted to say this though:

MC is a young writer/producer/director - The more we demand that he live-up-to or to replicate his past achievements, the more we are spitting directly in his face as an artist. He creates. Use that as an example in what you do in your daily lives - whether you're a painter of fine art or an assembly line worker -  Whether you're a CEO of a fortune five hundred company or you scrape the tallow off of rawhide. Art inspires us where enterprise leaves us cold.

So thanks for something original and stimulating, Mike. And here's to many more :beermug:. On your terms!.. not the doomed tyranny of art by committee. The singular creative vision realised by people who believe in it's potential. I would do anything I could to empower that and wish you well on your path, MC.

Wanker rant over. Go well Mike.

I'm hoping for a Canada Day special, that would be wicked!

I remember a few years back after season 3 ended they had a Trailer Park Boys themed Canada day on Shitcase and they played people favorites episodes back to back. That was really cool! Every Canada Day I hope it happens again but it hasn't yet. An actual episode themed for Canada would be fucking cool though!!

Did they do that on New Year's Eve as well one year?

To tell you the truth I have no idea. Maybe some one else might remember.
I do remember around the time of season 4 was airing that they did a special thing where Shitcase interviewed different characters of the show and they picked their favorite episodes or something... anyone else remember that?

I am out of the loop and gave up CanAm.  Before the PM's come though, I know that my PanSat could be used for illegal purposes (if I chose to).   My canadian faves are red green, north of 60, then TPB.  I really hope TPB continues.  Why would Mike give up a true classic????   I have posted negative comments on the prior season because Mike seemed to wrap it up as if all was said and done.  If he runs dry from ideas, I am sure that I can inspire him as I am a Probation Officer in rural VA.

Whenever they decided to return...they best be bringing Trevor and Cory back with them.

It's not the same without them.  :(

I'm sad to tell you but they won't be back bud.
I'm just as sad about it as you but we have to accept the reallity of the situation.
It's not exactly the same from year to year so, if you think that way, people do pass in and out of your real life, right? Same with C&T.

Yes the special is set to start being filmed in September.

This doesn't really affect the future of TPB since it is already an established show.  If you read closely

What they are saying is it is less likely NEW Canadian shows LIKE TPB will not be developed in the future.  TPB is already proven to be a success so there will still be people willing to pay for it.

I shudder when I read about investment banks and Equity firms taking over sports teams and media. Bunch of 'merchant bankers'.   ;)

Fine - when the TV schedules are junked up with (even more) mainstream rubbish and unimaginative dross, we can all go out and make up our own stuff instead. We don't need them for entertainment!  I suppose that's how TPB came about in the first place...
