Ok...great ep. A fitting end it would be, but I hope not. Can't see it going on with a wrap up like that. Except if its a movie or special. Cheers my friends, its been a fun ride.

WELL WHEN I FIRST SAW TPB I THOUGHT IT WAS A CANADIAN JOKE BUT I AM PROUD TO SAY I HAVE NEVER MISSED A SHOW OR MOVIE OR SPECIAL IN 7 YEARS. I MEET MR LAHEY AND RANDY AND AS FAR AS THAT BEING THERE LAST SHOW I HIGHLY DOUGHT IT. WHEN IT DOES WRAP UP IT WILL BE LIKE MASH OR FRIENDS OR BOB NEWHART. IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AND ADVERTISED SO I 'D SAY WE ARE SAFE FOR NOW... CANT WAIT FOR SEASON 8.....  RND :julian: :ricky:

Gee, that felt more wrapped up than the last season.
This season wasn't very enjoyable, but this episode made the weekly endurance all worth it. Just couldn't stop laughing!
Lots of verbal chaos, "awesome negotiation tactics" (to borrow a Conky line from season 4), nice to see things settled in their places in the end, and Ricky gets his grade 11; haha!

I'm pretty sure there won't be a season 8. If that's the case, then, thanks for the years of kick-ass.  :beermug:
Randy: Does that thing really launch, Bubbles?
Bubbles: Does it really launch? Does the Tin Man have a sheet metal cock?

Fuck it, man. I'm moving to Toronto and I'm gonna be a street person! I don't care!

id be willing to bet this is not the last season.

- they just put out a movie, why quit in the height of your popularity?
- last season felt like a finale sortof, ended happy with an explanation of everyones life.
- 480k probobly isnt retired, i mean fuck ricky blew 38 grand in unmarked bills in 3 days.   Julian lost 10k worth of vodka in his yard
- that money lets them RUN the park and opens up new doors, i think it will be good, or at least funny to watch it get blown
- ricky in US jail now making US connections

think positivly maaafuckkers

if im wrong though thanks to all the boys for a great fucking 7 years of killer shows.   :julian: :bubs: :ricky:

we love you down in the US

Just saw the ep, really liked it.  I'm not going to address whether or not that was the series finale, but like the Season 6 finale it also left a lot of people thinking it was a great way to end the show.  Of course the big difference was that when the season 6 finale aired we already knew there would be a season 7.

It was suggested that the season 6 finale was written that way because they weren't sure there would be a season 7 when they filmed it.  I guess what I'm saying is we can't assume that was the end of TPB.  Even if there is not a full season 8, there may be more TPB to come.

please stop with the negativity.  guessing whether or not they'll make another season is one thing, but do you really need to say they shouldn't make another season?  everybody else wants one.  also, don't you have some offs to fuck?

great show, the ending was kinda cheesy.  actually makes me think they're fucking with us.

Buh-buh-buh-buh-buh-buh-buh-buh-buh BAM!!!
Fucking awesome episode.
Loch Ness Monster Balls!
If this is the end -and it seemed like it- they couldn't have done a better job.
Tip your hat to Mike Clattenberg and Robb Wells, boyes. Excellent writing!!
I thought that this season has been kind of up and down, but seeing how it all came together in this episode, makes me realize just how much they were thinking 'season', instead of 'episode.'
That was such a beautiful little epilogue, with everyone finally realizing how content they are.
It was the epitome of bittersweet.

2nd season in a row that ended with a mega happy ending.  I suppose it beats filming a cliffhanger and then something comes up and you never finish the show.

Allthough I suppose you can only do that so many times.  I was surprised to see the mega happy ending used two years in a row.  But since it came back this year, it'll probably be back next year.

I thought it was a great episode. Many a good laughs throughout the entire thing really.

As far as the show ending....nah.

Don't you think there is a reason they didn't tell us what happened with Barb and Sam?

I am thinking they come back to the trailer park next season and take over. After all, Barb is the owner. You can smell this shit storm coming boys.

Also, where the hell is Ray living? lol

Lots of great scenes and a non-conventional ending (for TPB that is), I enjoyed it.  They even set up a bunch of great storylines for next season!

They made 480,000 each, not 48000.  They live off $30 a week so I'm sure half million will go pretty far.

I think it was 480,000 total not each, since Bach said he had $250,000 USD worth of smokes. Even assuming a low figure of $2 USD a pack thats 125,000 packs or 12,500 cartons.  It looks like a carton costs about $80 CDN in Nova Scotia.  Even if they managed to sell them at retail price thats only $1,000,000 CDN or ~$330,000 each.  Realistically they would probably try to offload them quickly at half price, which would be $500,000.  The $20,000 difference could be due to them keeping a hundred or so cartons for themselves, paying off Shitty Bill for his help, legal fines, and the cost of building the track.  So they each have $160,000... but we've already seen how quickly they can lose lots of money. :D
Smoking much dope lately boys? You guys are fucked!

Yeah I originally typed $240000 each, then realized that there would be several people getting money out of it and didn't want to try and do the math in my head at who would get what cut, but I forgot to take out the each.

That's good math thinking DH, living in tobacco territory down must give you a good advantage in illegal smoke selling. :D

Great episode, and I won't rehash the topics above....I think this episode was a "reset" of sorts...it allows the story to be restarted next season with a clean slate. Previous year to year transitions carried stories through, and that will eventually lead you to a repetitive story... (drunk...then super-drunk lahey, no money for the boys, jail time).

They can go in a new direction now, and try something different. Wild prediction: C&T have turned themselves into ultra-hard badasses, and have come to seek revenge :-)
I've been watching too much of MJ's "hobo" film...

stupid questions raised in this episode, not serious:
- How did they get the shitmobile back to Sunnyvale?
- Where does Ray live? Will Rick buy him a trailer? or at least sign another 35 year mortgage?
- Can lahey and randy control their addictions?

Thanks to all they boys for another enjoyable season.
- Will George and Ted seek revenge?
"excuse me gorilla, we da fuck out!"

I don't remember any thread like that here.  There was an article posted saying there would be more TPB in the future, not necessarily a season 8 though.

Well, as much as I hate to say this, but I think it's the end of the line for Ricky and the boys.  As previously stated in this thread, the amount of closure given in this particular episode points to the 'happy ever after' ending that everyone hoped would come to pass.

Sure, it's a great shame and I'll miss this program like nothing before.  But I have to commend everyone involved in the show for seven absolutely superb years of quite possibly the finest television ever - and most importantly knowing when it's time to call it a day.

What makes it worse is this is the second of three series finales I am watching today, but I have a feeling this one will be the toughest.

In the immortal words of William Feather; “Finishing a good book is like leaving a good friend.” - and that's certainly true of TPB.
