i'm glad finally Sarah is going to jail, she's the only one thats avoided it all these years, save for barb, but she may not be too far away either.  considering her reaction, she isn't used to it like J-ROC, or T.

Well even without knowing that conky was on his way back, I knew something was wrong with bubbles.  I think one person on this forum said that conky is in bubbles head.  Yet something happened to him this season, that made conky reappear.  whether it was the train, or even being frozen could have fucked his brain up.

Lahey isn't really evil, he's at a last resort, which sucks for him, he really got fucked over by Barb, and then seeing randy engaged to lucy, made him completely self interested, and desperate for that matter.  So he really isn't evil just self interested now, and the liquor brings that out.

Oh, and finally Ray apologizing for something, he's always selfish, and to admit something like that, is something different.

I love ricky, "I can't believe Randy's the father of Lucy's and I's baby"

And a final note for bubbles, he's desperate/self interested, almost suffice to say, what liquor is to Lahey, conky is to bubbles.

as someone already posted, Lahey did do one hell of a job acting drunk..im going to venture to say that this was his best drunk acting yet. especially when he was on top of the trailer with randy, his face actually looked bugged out and swollen that was perfect he really did look drunk as fuck..drunk as fuck.

Don't know if anyone motioned it but when Bubbles woke up and put the duvet over the cat, I thought that was hilarious.

What a great episode!  I laughed my ass off. I will have to eat my words now about TPB jumping the shark.

- Everyone got some screen time
- Lahey is back on the liquor and back on with Bobandy.
- Lahey setting the deadline for delivery of the Swayze Express by the opening time of the liquor store

while it's not the best line in the episode, I still laughed hard at J-roc when he's being arrested:

"I'd like to file charges too against these two ladies, uknowhatimsayin, for car jumpin-inery"

I liked that line as well...although I believe he says 'carjack and entery'

my biggest problem with this season has been the continuity. it seems to be lacking.

Continutity as in it could have been edited differently, or as in relation to other seasons? Just want to clairify what you mean.

i meant from episode to episode, so i guess, from different seasons. sorry about the late reply!

I noticed that on my second viewing too!

This happens quite often in the series, but it's easiest to just not worry too much about it. Like: Where's Trina now? Why don't we ever see Mrs Peterson? Barb was the minister at Lucy & Ricky's wedding.

Anyway, I just noticed you're from 'Tony Creek,' welcome to the park from your Hamilton neighbour!

Awesome episode overall.  The return of Conky will be glorious.  Bubbles disguise is amazing.  I want that wig.  I knew he was going to go insane after episode 5 when he started acting really weird.

GREAT episode!  I've only really liked two other episodes this season (ep 4 w/ Sebastian Bach & ep 6 w/ Kim Mitchell), but this was a return to classic form.

I like how Bubbles insanity has slowly been building all year and now he's reached the breaking point with the return of the dreaded Conky.

I hope Conky looks all Frankenstein like & patched together, and isn't somehow magically repaired by the liquor Bubs poured over him.  Also: will Conky have Bubbles hilarious new hair?

Mr Lahey has gone over the edge too, and now he's back to his old drunken self.  One of the things I've always liked about the show is how well they've walked the delicate line between comedy & pathos.

Hello Jimmy.

I absolutely agree, after watching 8 last night, I thought I must post regarding Lahey's performance.

I would swear the man was actually thoroughly drunk!  This tells us an awful lot about the standard of acting within TPB I feel.

I know someone has already mentioned J Roc's 'Guxedo' remark but, I have to mention it again, it really tickled me pink  :)

Bubble's skulking around was really quite eerie (he reminded me of 'Prince' for some inexplicable reason  :)) and his derogatory remarks throughout the episode regarding Patrick Swayze (it is like Bubbles completely blames Swayze for him having stolen the train in the first place) were very, very funny.

I cannot wait for the next episode.

Yes it was yet another great drunk performance by Lahey.  I still the think his performance in Jim Lahey is a Drunk Bastard, season 2, set the bar, pun intended, for all drunk performances.

Did we see George Canyon yet? I really can't remember. :-s

Yes he was one of the 2 Forest Rangers.

But the main thing that had me really confused about this episode...was Bubbles telling us that he had inherited Conky from his grandfather or something. This is a HUGE mistake, since I vividly remember Julian saying during the "Conky" episode in Season 4 that Bubbles MADE the Conky puppet in grade 6. I wonder what's up with that error?

Perhaps Bubbles is so delusional when it comes to Conky that he actually believes Conky was inherited instead of being created by him.

Julian said " In grade 6 bubbles had this puppet he called conky"

Nobody said anything about bubs accually building conky

Actually , if you listen , Julian clearly states "In grade 6 Bubbles made this puppet he called Conky"

Made , not created , I don'tthink it can be any clearer. If it was Ricky , I would understand him being confused about where the puppet came from , but this is Julian here!

I think we got a genuine script inconsistency here ...... 8)

yes, great line. But I can assure you it's jumpin-inery. I played it over about 10 times  :)

Hello there.

It was 'jump - inery', definately, it was very funny because it is the sort of thing a flustered child would say when trying to worm his/her way out of trouble!   :)

I loved when Randy's gut and Lucy's pregger belly bumped into each other.

Lahey's fridge was the same on that Ricky broke I think.  It was yellow.

Randy looked like Chris Farley in the Chippendale sketch with the real Swayze, when he was wearing the Gutsedo.

I dont really care to much about the small script errors like the Conky thing. In the Christmas special Randy becomes trailer park assistant but in season 2 he says he was the assistant for like 12 years or something. The math was just wrong. But I could care less as long as the over all show is funny.I mean none of the guys are that bright so errors in memory from a pot head are not a rare thing lol.Im lucky to remember last week much less a few years ago lol.

lol we are all so die hard when it comes to TPB. we really do notice all the little inconsistencies i suppose it really doesn't matter though. only we "the die hard" would notice something like that, and only we would defend it/call it out. i find the lack of consistency funny to say the least.

yeah, you're right about the consistency sometimes regarding characters in the show. i noticed trina was acting in another canadian show as i was flipping through channels (it was possibly on the cbc).

haha, thanks for the welcoming. 'worst case ontario,' very nice! have you been through tony creek lately? its beginning to turn into a city, much like grimsby in recent years.
