Their credits were in the first episode because they showed a video clip of them from past shows as a salute.

Yeah , when I saw the opening credits for episode 1 , I thought " Lazy bastards , can't even change the freakin' credits when the cast changes "   , but then with the cameo clips , and the lack of credits on episode 2 , I figured it  #-o

I am surprised that the guessing game has not started about who left the flowers and note for Barb.  I'm gonna start with my guess of RAY.  He is single and not gay - so I think that he is a strong candidate.

Anyone else?

Maybe Shitty Bill found some Viagra and dug up some flowers. Hey, it could happen  :P

let 'er rip..

I wonder if anyone else has noticed this... in the liquor store parking lot when the boys are selling frozen meat, they meet Phil who's selling "Makrel & Blueberries"... but when he notices the boys he comes over to their car, sticks his hockey stick into their window and asks "Hey guys... selling stolen meat are ya, wanna buy some trout?"

I was just wondering if this was intentional or not!

EDIT:  Whoops I meant to post this under Episode 1.

the fish falling down on julians lap wasnt intentional ;)

The houndstooth was classic Ricky.  Maybe we will see it again if he changes clothes at some point this season.  :ricky:

I'm sure at some point in the season Ricky will fall down into something wet.

I figured he would have changed his shirt after Randy spit on it though.

Acutally if you watch closely there appears to be the same number of trout on the hockey stick on the way in and out of the car... so they actually planned on having julian throw a trout at the picture of a seal on his gut... which is hilarious attention to detail!

the houndstooth shirt disappeared for awhile and then came back.  FWIW, rumour has it that the shirt was on Robb's garage floor lol.  Fact is the wardrobe department made about 4 of them which lead to the return of the houndstooth.  Hopefully it'll show up again soon ..... that is a Ricky trademark :).

We talked to Richard Collins about that scene and he says it wasn't planned. I loved the way the fish bounced off Phil's belly.

The pattern and fit is simply much more flattering to Ricky's figure and coloring.

Hm... not Randy, I know that for sure. I'd say Sam Losco. I mean, the writers have already done the Barb/Sam thing but that's what I said about Randy/Lucy.

Also, I'm starting to have my doubts about Randy being the father of Lucy's baby. I mean, George did her around that time as well and I still find it fishy that Julian kept trying to push Ricky away and talk over him whenever the subject was brought up...

The comment about Ricky's old shirt being on Robb's garage floor is in one of the commentary...

And I don't think Randy left the flowers either.

Just a question

If Lucy is 6 months pregnant and Ricky says they haven't had sex in 7 months what has been going on for the last 7 months? When we left Season 6 everything was ok noone in jail etc so has there been a length of time not accounted for? Does the movie time frame figure in ? Has Ricky and Julian been out playing things straight and Ricky hasn't banged Lucy the whole time? Am i reading to much into this? I'm loving the season so far but I was a little confused.

well awesome, for once, I don't have to be the "big bad guy"!

This episode, was one of the best I've seen in a long time.
Why?
ONE SCENE made the show come back to it's roots...ONE SCENE...

..THE CAMERA CREW scene!

YES, a brilliant return of the camera crew made me believe in this show again.

With that said, this episode had elements of older seasons that impressed me.
- The sentimental music with the Ricky/Julian/raccoon scene and the Ricky/Lucy/Randy scene brought back that nostalgic feeling of earlier seasons.
- The big fight scene with Ray/Bubbles/Ricky/Julian reminded me of Seasons 1 & 2 when the boys would rabble over ridiculous situations.
- Ricky going to Bubbles as the 'man of advice' in the park, like Julian used to do.
- Not to mention any reference of Julian and Patrick Swayze is fantastic to see.
- Sam Losco in the Season 2 camper (loved that bootlegging thing at the liquor store..anyone notice Sam's camper says "Fore Sale"?)

I like the small-bit storylines in this episode that are developing also, like the "Who is sending Barb flowers?", J-Roc/Tyrone's "Scrilla Villa" operation, and Julian's desire to find money.

Only criticism I have, would be :
- the fight scene with the boys may have dragged on a bit too long.
- Bubbles' fast-paced talking (I always say that, I know it'll never change now)
- I thought Julian was delivering pizza's?  No explanation of him leaving?
- Randy's "terrets" reactions...ya they're kinda funny, but it's almost overboard.
- A bit late on this one, but they never gave an explanation as to why J-Roc now drives Mr. Lahey's 1991 Cadillac that he won in Season 4 for winning Trailer Park Supervisor Of The Year.  J-Roc started driving it in Season 6, and in Season 5 he was driving the maroon Stationwagen.  Jus thought I'd throw that one out there.

overall though, this was a great episode, look forward to more like this. :6paper:

Why is lahey hanging out in a liquor store? Is it something cops do in canada.

I live in BC and there's no cops hanging out in the liquor stores... maybe that's just something they do out east in Nova Scotia?  I'd like to know myself -- why a cop and not a security guard or something?

An ex-alcoholic cop doing security in a liquor store?  I think Lahey's gonna be drinkin' soon....

I've seen some cops here at the liquor stores in ON but I thought they were paid-duty cops and not "on duty ones'.  FWIW, the stores I've seen them have been in the greasier areas of the towns in question.

Sam Losco was being unfairly targeted by the cops.  Racial profiling at it's finest.  Cavemen are always trouble makers.

I think so too, Saucy Bastard.

He's gonna snap -- he can only make so many runs to Hortons for double-doubles & triple-singles.  And "that's only 75 cents Terry, for fuck sakes!"
