I'd like to take a little time to introduce to you all my new son, Reid Benjamin Jardine.

He was born today via planned C section in Brockville, ON at 840am.  Weighing in at 7lbs 8oz., and already like his daddy.  Born to eat.  Mommy is back in the room with no complications this time and my boy is already at the teet.  Heres' a few pics and I'll post more when I get home tonight.

Thanks for all the prayers and wishes.

 How long was he at birth? He looks fairly tall.

Still waiting for a measurement.  The nurse took him just before I left.  I'm about to go get the daughter to take to visit him.  That's gonna be interesting.  We got her a Tickle me Elmo X, the new one, as a present from her brother.

Godsite.  I'm ok with that.  Just remember he still gets liquor on his birthdays, care of me.

He was 19 3/4" long.  Sydney was 20 1/2" so a little smaller, but a little heavier.

He slept for 3.5 hours this afternoon, then ate for 1.5 hrs then back to bed.  She told me to come home for some food and rest and she was going to catch a nap.  Might get called back in tonight, but I doubt it.  The nurses are taking great care of her.
