I play the drums. Have been for 7 years.
I've gotten really good - theres nothing I cant play.
I also play guitar and bass.

Some great drummers that I have to praise are:

Joey Jordison from Slipknot
Frost from Satyricon
Adrian Erlandsson (Netherbird, ex-CoF)
Martin Skaroupka from Cradle of Filth
Fuck off, I've got work to do.

ah, what a nice thread...

i must mention that drums are by far the sexiest instrument... loud, sweaty, bouncing, drummers, ..yum. very animalistic.

might be the reason i became a drummer myself.
cant play any instrument in the least except the drums.
and i feel sexy everytime i play them.

Why do guitarists put drumsticks on the dash of their car?
So they can park in the handicapped spot.

I have been drumming for almost 10 years. I like mainly metal and stuff, so fast drumming is my fave. I like other styles though. This guy is a great drummer check it out.

I never heard of this guy before.  I really like his opening riffs.  I'm sure drummers like these are not interested in the idea, but I always wonder what a drums&bass song would sound like if programmed by a capable drummer.  Sure it would rock.

The most recent drumming I wowed at with friends was what Jennifer Grey did before she starred in Dirty Dancing:

Well after playing Rock Band 2 drums, I have a new found appreciation for drummers.  It's fucking hard to do it on easy with a kids setup, can't imagine being able to play for real.

But I am starting to rock the hell out of my video game. :punkrock: :rimshot:
