... Ok so I haven't won the lottery, but it felt really good to type that fantasy title then. So yeah, me and my brethren Simon were having the usual 'what you'd do if you won the lottery' conversation, and I think he asked me if I could have any car with my winnings what would I get... thought about it for a minute.. hmm.. then the answer came clear - fuck that, no car, I would throw a trailer trash fancy dress party and hire lahey and randy for the night, like fly them over to the UK and just hang out and get drunk. That would be the best thing I could think of doing with any lottery winnings. I'd be happy. how about you guys? Shoot!

Oh I would do so much, to name just a few....

Buy a new car.
Move into a place where I could get animals.
Hire Samuel L. Jackson to sit in front of me and my buddy Ric and swear for hours on end.
Eat a whole ton of pickled eggs.
Travel the world.
See whatever concert I wanted, whatever city I wanted, whatever place in the arena I wanted.

I would lose the ticket. However, if by the grace, I did not lose the ticket and was able to claim my prize monies, I would:

buy a bartender from Mi Cocina to make margaritas whenever I wanted them
pay off my house and buy my mom one
put all of my kids in private school
buy a new short bus to haul everyone around in
buy a new sports car for meine spouse
buy a plastic surgery safari - boobs, lipo, tummy tuck and big game hunting in Africa
install a dancer pole in my bedroom

Well first thing I would do is send Dieter some airline tickets so he can fly over and meet me. While he is doing that I will fill out this list trying to right all of the wrongs that I have done to people in my life. Then when Dieter arrives we can be a team trying to get people crossed off my list you see..... Wait a minute

depends how much I won. 6/49 is a cool 22 mil today. If I won that:

Million each to my sis and Mom. Pay off all my Aunts and Uncles mortages. Make sure the grannies want for nothing. Trust funds for my Son, neice and nephew.

Buy a big peice of land somewhere far away from people and build a modest home.

Spend the off school season travelling with my boy.

Invest wisely. Give generously.

Oooh I love this game...

First I would load up all my GF's into a limo to go pick up the money in Toronto. Then I'd take them to Holt Renfrew for a sweet shopping spree. Then I'd probably move to the HRM and buy or build a sweet house on the ocean. I would put some money away, pay off all my debts and then throw a big party and hire some ridiculously over-priced but totally worth it band to play and hopefully convince the TPB's that they too should be in attendance.
After that I'd want to travel the world, specifically Egypt, Easter Island, England, Scotland, Italy and the place where they filmed "Twin Peaks".
Oh and it goes without saying that I would set my family up with some money too.
I'm almost 29 and I still don't know how to drive, so I'd have to learn and get my license, then buy some wicked auto(s)

...And with the rest of my winnings I'd buy Queen Elizardbeth and Prince Charles, and have each one of them spend 3 hours a day polishing the soles of my feet until they could see their own reflections on my heels, and for the other 21 hours of the day they could read my thoughts and just know what I want to eat and perform other remedial tasks that I didn't want to do, that way I wouldn't even have to talk to them! That'd be raaaaadical.

After the usual pay off my bills crap I would travel a bit and then piss it all away on a SCCBC racing program. I figure you could burn a million per season easy but own the championship. Oh yeah - and I would buy a sweet plane like a P-51 or a Spitfire.

Well, let's see. I would give 10% to charity. I would get input from loved ones as to what charities are close to their hearts... I would pick several around the world and divide the money up among them. I would give my mom and bro 1 mil each but would make sure that they invest some of it. My lil bro would get a car, an apartment and money for school and investing. He would have to take a course in managing money. If he goes to school I'll give him enough to pay bills. If he goes to work, he pays for his own bills. Kids gotta learn to earn his own way in life....that's the way of the road.

I would move to a country that is sunny 80% of the time. I'm sure immigration would be glad to let a millionaire into their country.

I would buy a modest house.....probably only a one level, (until I start a family) with a huge backyard for a dog and a place to have BBQ's with friends and family. It would be close to the ocean of course. I would take some time to discover my passions and see how I could turn it into work (go back to school if that is what it takes) Of course I would take time to travel....to all the beautiful beaches in the world.

Thought this might be a fun thread to resurrect.

I'm assuming a winfdall of several million dollars (5+). First thing would be to buy a house, I can't wait to own my own place! I'd donate to my favourite charities. Buy some nice vehicals for myself & family. And a Wii with Guitar Hero. Travel, travel, travel!!!
