So we thought that a prize should be awarded to the person that travels the farthest to be in Halifax for the Season 7 party.  As of now it looks like Djet3k, from Belgium, is in the lead.  I'll set the closing date for April 2, 10:00 pm EST, the person must be confirmed by then.  That will give the person who has won time to make their pick so I can take their prize to Halifax with me.  If D wins another prize before that then the next in line will get the Halifax prize.

I think there should be a prize for the person going furthest in debt to be at this party?  Everyone submit receipts at the end of the trip and see who's gotta get a second job, or take out a second mortage to pay for their trip.

Just did a quick check and from Phoenix to Halifax is 3346mi, and from Antwerp Belgium to halifax is only 3059mi.  Maybe he's gonna have to get a longer flight to beat Sarge.

Does it count if we are coming from Texas but go to California first and THEN head to Hali?  Maybe do some circles up near Seattle.  Make a stop in Grand Forks, ND.  Make a Bugs Bunny Trail all the way to Hali.  That's pretty friggin' far.  Maybe farther than Belgium.

That's what I used Fishy and found that the math was pretty much what you guys came up with. 2665/3050 miles

The only members who could beat Deet's trail miles would be anyone from StoneChimestralia.

That name-change is still being debated in the Senate.. so it won't be StoneChimestralia for a while yet  :P

I recall some guy from an Antarctic base station writing a post in here recently? But aside from that I think Melbourne would take the cake..

From Salem, Oregon to Halifax it's 3,784 miles/6,090km. Of course this is just driving direction via google maps. Taking I-84 East at Cheyenne, Wyoming and proceeding for 1,008 miles  But sadly Jarska and everyone else I will not be there either :(  :cries:

You haven't won anything yet, there's still time for someone to join the party that is even farther than you.  Actually I was talking to my buddy Borje Salming, he's thinking of coming from Sweden :)

If he's coming, make sure he brings plenty of underwear for everyone. I think this was the sound of Suzie's thong strap snapping.  :P

OOOOOOOOOOO - snap.
