Hey all,

Us youngins have this new trendy thing called facebook, which is basically MySpace but with more and better features (in my very unbiased opinion  8))  It just occured to me today that there might be a cool TPB group on there.  I found out there's currently 83 all together, and I ended up joining the York University group (since I go there)

I was wondering if any one else has facebook or knows of a good facebook TPB group.
Either way, feel free to add me!  blue.shamrock@hotmail.com

I have a Facebook account, at the moment I am loading pictures to it from the pub crawl I was on last night. It was more of a Pub Limp, then crawl for me. At the last pub I was walking to the bar to get a beer, when I stepped off a landing and sprained my ankle. I was kinda glad I was wasted because the pain I went through, I wouldn't of wanted to go though it sober. Apparently when I got home, my ankle was so swollen my wife said it looked like a half a grapefruit.... Sorry to get off track, yeah...Facebook is not bad...Prettymuch the same idea as Hi5, and MySpace and all that stuff.

I hear that's where all the cool teenagers went after MySpace became too corporate with people hawking their stuff (like me for instance). I've been meaning to check it out.

There are actual groups from my university network devoted to facebook as the ultimate procrastination tool.  It helps to know you're not alone

I find Facebook extremely confusing, compared to myspace.  Anyway if there is an Org group I will join.  Melba shouldn't you be answering trivia questions ;)

I've got accounts all over the place.  The government can SO keep track of me.  And you know, I am not smart enough to EVER sensor what I say.

But, I will get a facebook account, too.  Lemming me.  (do we have a sheepish emoticon?)  (I need an emoticon insertor.  Would anyone like to apply for the job?  It pays in booze.)

How is facebook different than myspace  ?  I'm not the busiest guy in the world but I can't keep track of accounts all over the fackin' internet and if it's not any diff than myspace then I'll stick to my myspace page.

I can see why you'd stick to your myspace page, it being all pimped out and all.   :P

DAF, there's a little difference between the two.  Not as much spam yet on FB.  You don't get strippers asking to be your friends (yet).  It's more of a networking tool than just a friend page.
