Pay Pal
« on: Jan 26, 2007, 06:44 PM »
Been thinking of getting a Pay Pal account. How many of you folks have one , and how have you felt about the way that it works? I'm always a bit nervous about putting my personal info out there on the web , so wonder about the security of my funds there.....

I got one.  You almost need one for buying on Ebay.  I never keep money on it, just transfer exactly what I need for the purchase.  Had a few of the phishing emails sent to me but didn't click on anything.  They are a reputable way of doing business and I'm sure they cover any thing you lose.

I've had no problems with Paypal. Saucy, for a little bit of a cheat, go to www.auctionsniper.com . It will bid for you with 2 seconds left.

I recently got a PayPal account. I haven't officially used it yet but it is all Verified and ready to go. I'm just waiting th 6-8 business days for my money to transfer.
I am planning on doing what SMG does and just transfer my exact funds for a purchase when I need it.

That's exactly why I took a chance and started using PayPal. It was too much of a pain in the ass after awhile with the constant stops at the bank for a Money Order. I swear by PayPal.

If you ever do get a phishing email that looks like it came from PayPal, you can go to PayPal and report it.

I've been using it for years. Both personally and to collect
signup fees for sports organizations who's websites I run.

I have never had a problem with pay pal.

I've had a few of those funny emails regarding paypal and ebay. I ignored them and nothing happened.
