Great game between the Pats and the Colts! NBC has much better sport commentators too.  Fox was pretty one sided.  I though they were suppose to be neutral!? lol

Interesting way to see why Super bowl tickets are so hard to get as a fan.

The National Football League allots the Bears and Colts 17.5 percent of Dolphin Stadium's 70,000 seats—about 12,250 each. Players on both teams get the opportunity to buy 15 tickets from that pot. The teams choose how they want to split the rest among staff, fans, sponsors and others, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said. Nearly 35 percent of Super Bowl tickets go to the remaining NFL teams, with each player allowed to buy two. The league keeps slightly more than 25 percent of the tickets, most of which go to sponsors, network partners and licensees. The host team—in this case the Miami Dolphins—gets the remaining 5 percent.

This was in our paper over the weekend.  who picks 15 games on Proline and gets them all right.  And picking the Bears to lose at home against the Packers as the last game.  That's a gutsy pick, or a didn't have a clue what I'm doing pick.

LANSDOWNE (Staff) -- A Lansdowne resident who describes herself as "not really a football fan" has won $166,685.50 playing Pro-Picks Pools.

Renee Hughes said in an Ontario Lottery and Gaming press release that she needed the Green Bay Packers to win their game to have a 15 out of 15 match in the December 31 draw.

She said she couldn't believe when they won.

A server at the OLG Casino Thousand Islands, Hughes, 28, plans to pay off debts and take a vacation with some of the money. She bought her ticket at Pioneer Petroleum on King Street East and her win was verified through OLG's retailer win policy and procedures.

Went to the Rent-To-Own place today to see about renting a bigger TV for the game and they wanted 250$ for drop off saturday pick up monday.  I said no thanks and will go with multiple TV's instead.  Probably 25 people coming over for a tailgate and the game.  Gonna be awesome to see Mr. Rex hoist the vince Lombardi trophy.  I told the wife I'm gonna name the boy Rex if the Bears win.  She'll be cheering for the Colts for that reason.

Went there at lunch and the low prices are for lease to own.  I probably could have pretended I wanted to buy it but that would just be bad karma.

Yeah sorry SMG, Da Bears gave it a good try.  But I have been a Manning fan since Archie was playing for the Saints.  Showing my age I know. So I was cheering on the Colts this time. Good game for once. Played in the rain as well. Football should be played in inclement weather IMHO.

Grossman in the 4th quarter = (I will let you fill in the blank SMG)

Have to say my 27 - 17 prediction with Manning as MVP was correctamundo!!

Peyton Manning could have shot someone at half time and he was still going to get the MVP.

Heard this morning that Grossman wasn't on the field for 53 minutes from before halftime to their first possession in the third.  That's a lot of time to get nervous.  Hopefully he gets some stickem for his butter fingers.

Well played game.  Couldn't believe the start the Bears had.  KO returned to the house before I even sat down.  Pick on the first series.  Up 14-7.  Then GOD, I mean Peyton, finally showed the difference between having a great QB vs. a mediocre QB.

Time of Possession was incredibly lopsided.  I think it might have been better for the Bears if they didn't score that quick TD and let the offense do it's gameplan.

Credit to Indy and Dungy for executing their plans.  Glad I didn't take that bet Cappy.  I did manage to win $100 on our grid at my party.  Won all four quarters.

Ya the Peyton prediction was an easy one to make. the score was more what I was getting at. I wish I could have watched the game properly, instead of between floods and sober.

We managed to steal the American feed for the first quarter and the commercials were awesome.  Then all of a sudden, click.  Global's fake scoreboards, fake blimbs, fucking brutal.  It drained my energy having to watch the game on a second rate network.  No one in Canada would prefer the same Pizza Hut and Purolator commercials to the actual american ones.

Full as fuck this morning.  I feel like I put on 15 pounds yesterday.

Yay!!!

Man, did the BF and I ever have a argument { er..heated disscussion I mean ;)} about the outcome of this matchup.

He guaranteed the Bears would prevail. He was so sure of himself....he even said he would clean my bathroom for a month if he was wrong.

Today I went and bought him some 'Tilex' and rubber gloves.
