10 straight road wins, 3 in the playoffs, everyone important.  I think it'll end up like last year, Giants will jump out early, Pats will score 42.

The Steelers just locked up Big Ben for the next eight years. 102M with 36 guaranteed. Now they need to get some OL to keep him healthy.

After that loss to the Giants in the playoffs, I wouldn't say so. He looked terrible.

Got my name pulled for the Bills games in toronto.  Guess I'll be buying 4 seats for all 8 games.  Hopefully the 100 level endzone.  They're 125$ each, but almost the same as the 500 level mid field.

Since the Bills ticket thing didn't work out, I came up with another plan that has been accomplished.

I got me and the wife tickets to see my Bears play against Detroit on October 5th.  Got a cousin to look after the kids and dog, so we'll leave from Waterloo the morning of the game and hopefully find some Bears fans tailgating.

They certainly became the Sea-Chickens very fast.  But I have to say that I could see it coming so no surprise to me at all.

I am about to start watching the Huskies!! haha

You mean even after the Oregon State Beavers beat them for the 5th time in a row and the 4th time in their place. At Husky stadium in front those idiot dog fans  :P oh yeah after years of getting the beat down we are now beating down the huskies how does it feel losers

I know that I give SMG a hard time about Da Bears but mostly that is just kidding around. I must say that I was really happy that they beat down the Vikings yesterday.  I really do not like the Vikings. It looked like an exciting game to watch but of course the network here did not carry that game.  :?

I had about 30 channels showing football and I had to choose between NYG-SF or Buff-SD.  Brutal, I watched the game on CBS.com's gamecenter.  Bears almost blew another one.  They're 4-3 and the 3 losses they led late in the game all three.  OT loss to TB, last second field goal to Atl and 4th Q score to Carolina.

Could be 7-0.  I'll take the division lead though.

SMG Whadda you think?

Quote
The Chicago Bears have acquired quarterback Jay Cutler from the Denver Broncos.

The Bears will also receive a 2009 fifth-round draft pick (140th overall) and will ship quarterback Kyle Orton, a 2009 first round draft pick (18th overall), a 2009 third round draft selection (84th overall) and a 2010 first round draft pick to Denver.

What do you think SMG? I think it will be a good deal for da bears. Although prone to silly mistakes, Cutler is a good quarterback and a head case.

yes, I am a happy man right now.  signed Orlando Pace as well to help on the line.  I think we won't miss drafting another Curtis Enis, Cade McNown, C Benson so we'll survive.  Having the "pro bowl" type QB is going to turn Hester into a deep threat.

I live in Wisconsin, so naturally I'm a bigtime Packer fan.  :beermug:

I'm pulling for the Bears to draft another Rashaan Salaam.
I know how it's pronounced; I ordered jaLOPano.

I enjoyed the Packers when Favre was quarterback.  Didn't watch much football last season and not real inspired about football now that F1 has begun.
