I know most of you have been bad boys and girls this year  ;) - but did you get any presents you were hoping for?

All I wanted this year was a Telus monkey (I didn't want the bloody phone, just the monkey) and I didn't get one. Christmas is ruined.

Fuck Father Christmas.

& More! (Except I didn't get any Magic Bags the vacuum storage bags, but I did get a gift card that I can use towards them)

I had a very TPB Christmas! The movie CD, the calendar, a belt buckle/bottle opener & an umbrella that has a hound's tooth pattern.

Who wants to come over & play Scene It?

Also, a four day trip to New York City in January where we have tickets

I also got the gift of being in the Super Bowl of the TPB Football Poll.

All in all, a good Christmas.

Let's see.... I got a
- 1GB card for my digital camera...Ton's O' Ass shots this new year!!!
- a t-shirt that says "I love Lunch Ladies"
- another t-shirt that has a pic of a guy doing a kung-fu kick + a donkey a.k.a Ass (Kick+Ass)
- 1st season of My Name is Earl on DVD
- Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest + Willow on DVD
- gift cards for the Future Shop
- socks and underpants
- new wife beaters (because all my other ones have BBQ sauce stains on them)
- a sweater I'll never wear
- chocolates
- a fucking weird nativity scene
- PEI Monopoly
- Bubba Mug
- cash (that was opened early and spent on booze)
- weird pirated porn & gift card for "Afternoon Delights", which is a sex shop (this was given by my secret Santa at work...)

Not a bad haul for the small gifts...However for the big gifts, this was the first Christmas for me as a married man, and I feel somewhat jipped, because besides the gifts mentioned above, all the big gifts were given for both me & the wife...We got a Mixer and a Bread Maker...WTF...Being married is not as good as I thought for the holiday season!

However today was a pretty good day...I woke up and vomited in the shower, and it wasen't due to drinking too much the night before, it was a chest cold...So I went to work, and got sick again, so I was told to go home...Then I started to feel alright. After, I went to a Christmas dinner hosted by the in-laws, where I sat at a table with in-laws who liked free booze as much as I do, we took turns stealing the wine and other various booze from other family members tables, and to make a long story short....I'm fucking drunk.

Merry Christmas!

Sweet!! I love NYC so much! & To have tickets to see one of my BF's (Jon Stewart) would be amazing! Jon Stewart's performing at the Orillia Casino & I'm seriously considering trying to get tickets (& then finding out how to actually get there).

I got a decent haul too.
-Remote starter/alarm for the truck
-car stereo for it too (taking it back though)
-Lost S2 on DVD
-Kenneth Cole Reaction panther piss
-nice cordorouy jacket
-couple sweaters
-clerks1/2 combo pack
-socks
-couple hundred bones in cash
-M&M gift card (don't know why)

A nice haul considering the value of the starter.  I realize that I spent way too much on other people though.  Gotta curb that spending next year.

Cool gifts everyone. Especially you, OD. Barfing on Christmas...that is truly a blessing.

My family and the husband's family agreed to keep the gifts to a minimum this year. My family did a fairly decent job of sticking to the food and fellowship program as initially agreed upon. The husband's family was supposed to stick to the white elephant/dirty Santa plan as mentioned here...
http://www.trailerparkboys.org/forums/index.php?topic=6784.0
What pretty much ended up happening is most of the adults (except for us) brought a white elephant gift AND bought a gift for everyone. Anarchy!  :P
Anyway, wow, you guys and gals weren't kidding; White Elephant/Dirty Santa can be a beating. At first, I had a really cool flashlight, but it was stolen away and I ended up with this...

The rich in-laws "misunderstood" the rules and brought used gifts. We're not talking gently used either. Check out that packaging. I'm pretty sure that's a picture of the first microwave ever invented.

Here are a few of the other gifts I received...
Cash
Candy (this is like a double gift because not only is it tasty, but it will translate into a fat ass)
Cookies (ditto)
A wicked awesome coffee mug that I've had my eye on for quite some time
And my fave gift...

That's a lap desk from Levenger. Anything that brings me one step closer to never having to leave the bed is a-okay in my book.

Seriously though, this year, me and the husband were able to move back "home" and be near family and old friends again. 2006 has been good to us.

Yeah Dirty Dancin, that does look like one of the first microwaves...In fact I think it's the model I used to use to melt down my GI Joes when I was a kid, I'd stare at the lights inside until it burned out my retinas...Mom had to go to the big city and stab a hobo for a new set of eyes for me, she got some alcoholic South African doctor who was drunk at the time on Peppermint Schapp's to do the transplant.

Got my best gift tonight, on my 3rd annual boxing day poker tourney.  Won $320 in the first two games of the night.  Threw the last one so they'd come back next year.  Had 14 people for the first game at $30 each, and 12 @ $20 each for the second.  Total domination.  Had a feed of left over turkey in the form of a sandwich bar.  The cooking for 3 days straight was a lot of work but well worth it.
