Thank you, finally, for putting that on the net HVB. It's all about entertainment.
"the Coke booth" comment had me pissing myself.
The other employee's seemed to like it. I doubt that a weekly series would please them. Remember, the boy's had to move parks four times before finding a permanent home at the old NS mental intitution location.

Thanks for commenting, Fishy!

Glad you enjoyed the video, man!  :D

And as for the other employees liking it.. they knew this video was being filmed ahead of time.. don't forget what I told you guys when we spoke in person in Toronto.. My videos are all thought up and planned out ahead of time.. I'm not lying when I say that  ;)

I believe that this whole "Harveys excursion" was planned a week in advance.. I personally.. don't work at Harveys.. I work at a resort called "Hidden Valley Resort"..And thats where I found out that Robb, JP and Mike were coming to perform in Huntsville in January.. it comes from a reliable source...the booking agent  :P

Now we want the Christmas video.  Let's go.

Haha, great video man. I do have to say though, you have your moments where you sound as well as look spot on, then you have other not so great moments.

Hey HVB. Just want to let you know that you're not hated but I have to admit something... I have kind of held back on telling you what I think about your Bubbles impersonating because you take it seriously and I don't really want to piss you off or hate me. You've always seemed like a really cool guy and I think you'd be cool to hang out with so I'm sorry if this post bugs you...
The truth is, I don't really find any of your Bubbles stuff very funny. You don't sound like him or look like him. The actual "replica" glasses did help some what but even still I don't think you look like him much.
Me, personally, I don't think you should take it as serious as you do because it is somewhat weird if you ask me. I'm not saying doing impersonations is weird but doing one that your not good at and bragging about yourself is kind of weird.
That's pretty much what Dieter was really trying to say when joking around. I guess that's just his way of doing it. I guess it kind of back fired but it was really meant to let you know you're kind of making yourself look... odd I guess. Me and Dieter pretty much agreed when it came to you, I am not sure what the other members completely think but this is my opinion and I am really sorry if I offended you...
I am not saying completely stop doing impersonations but tone it down on the Bubbles stuff.
I'll give you this though dude. I was on your site and I heard your George Bush and I must say, good job. No Frank Caliendo but very good job. I couldn't figure out if you had any other voice clips of differant impersonations on there but if you do I wouldn't mind hearing them.
Once again, this post was not meant to be rude or mean or anything. Your a cool dude and that's just my opinion.

Nothing wrong with being honest and expressing opinions respectfully. Nothing at all.

So here's my go:

I am a person who really enjoys doing impersonations. I'm pretty darn good at doing Bubbles on the Trailer Park Boys TV show. I wonder if anybody else would get a kick out of my act ? Hey I know, let's Google Trailer Park Boys fan sites. I bet they would appreciate my act. I mean...where else would anyone get my shtick.

I've met HVB. He is very cool to hang out with. Has a great sense of humor. And, I look forward to meeting him again because he was real sweet.

In fact, I told him that I had him all wrong in Toronto. I really thought that he went to some trailer park and knocked on the doors bugging people like a weirdo acting like Bubbles. But the joke was on me because it was a gag and he knew everyone in the video. In fact, I was making him chuckle by slinging my Bubbles voice right back at him across the dinner table.

So you might think his "getting into the part" is kooky or odd or weird or that he's presumptuous of his Bubbles skills. But you gotta admit......  He's found the right place to do that.  :D :bubs:

It's all good

Thanks Sarge, thats nice of you to say.. And Refuck.. I don't hate you nor will I ever.. You expressed an opinion and I appreciate it.. Truth be told.. I'm not trying to brag by putting up all these videos and shit, dude.. The reason I do it is to just..well.. hopefully entertain some members of the ORG...

It was never my intention to "brag" about my impersonation, as I know its not the best.. And the only real reason I continue to do the Bubbles impersonating is because I get paid money to do it.. As an example.. I was paid to be Bubbles for the day at that Harveys Restaurant.. I'll be 100% honest.. and also to appologize if I came off as bragging, as it is not my intention and I assure you that whenever I do brag on the site.. I do it jokingly..

Heck, dude! I'm not saying I'm the best Bubbles impersonator in the world or anything lol..There is only one best Bubbles impersonator in the world.. and I think his name is Mike Smith...  :P  The only real three reasons I've decided to stick with the Bubbles impersonating is because of A.) The money (which I need..bills suck.) B.) friends supporting me   and  C.) Family supporting me...

Anyway.. I think I've rambled on enough.. hopefully this makes you understand more.. and I appologize to Dieter and to Refuck if I came off as bragging as it was never my intention!

Thanks for the comments everyone.. hopefully one day I'll met Refuck and Dieter in person.. perhaps this coming April.. and they'll hopefully realize I'm not a complete nutjob..

I'm glad I didn't come off as fuckernaut when I said that bud :)
And I do understand your reasons for pursuing it a bit more.
About the bragging thing, you don't do it much but a few times I've noticed a bit of it. Nothing over the top though.
But again, I wouldn't mind hearing some of your other impersonations cause I fucking love impersonations and I've really only heard the Bubbles and the Bush. The Bush clip you had on your site cracked me up. Hook me up will ya!
Hopefully I get to meet you in Halifax. It should be a good time!

Hehe.. Thanks!

Truth be told.. I thought that my Bush impression was horrible.. and Voice123 sucks for putting up decent vocal clips because of the size limitation and the time limitation.. I had a REALLY good voice clip I did of Bush.. but it couldn't be uploaded..

Umm.. here's a list of my other impersonations.. let me know which ones you are interested in and I can either send them to you over E-Mail or perform them for you live on MSN Messenger with a mic..

-Sean Connery
-Christopher Walken
-Gilbert Gottfried
-George Bush ...obviously
-Bill Clinton
-Ozzy Osbourne
-Conky (Yeah.. I know.. Trailer Park Boys  )
-Triumph, The Insult Comic Dog
-Jay Leno
-Keanu Reeves
-Paul Hogan
-Marlon Brando
-Doctor Evil
-Mrs. Doubtfire (....don't ask...)

Thats all I can think of.. I mostly impersonate Bubbles and Bush... Bush because I think he's a fucking idiot..

I'll never forget when I was off in college and left a message on my parents answering machine as Bush..talking about how I required their vote for me to win the election..

EDIT: My main reason for doing all the Bubbles impersonations was due to friends kinda convincing me to do it.. I went through a LONG phase of depression for about 4 years where I figured I was useless and was almost ready to take my own life.. For a while I kept failing at things in my life.. I suppose the Bubbles impersonating filled a void in my life and making people laugh in turn had helped me with my depression and made me realize that, hey, I may not be perfect.. but at least I could do SOMETHING..

I seriously believe that had I not had the constant support of friends and family.. I wouldn't be chatting on the forums right now.. and I fucking hate admitting to anyone that I was suicidal because I feel that it makes me seem crazy when I wasn't.. I was just very depressed.

Its indescribable how I feel when I can approach random strangers and make them laugh with my impersonations.. I feel like I've accomplished something.. one.. being the aspect of overcoming my fear of extreme shyness which I had always had since I was a kid.. and two.. making people happy and laughing...Refuck, the only real reason I chose to stick with my Bubbles impersonating over my other impersonations was because I feel that doing a voice is not enough.. its important to somewhat look the part of the person you are impersonating.. and as much as I love to impersonate Bush and Clinton... I'm not ready to dye my hair gray...  :P

You know what? Let me give you an example.. Last night, December 16th, I had a co worker approach me and ask me if I could do him a favor and impersonate Bubbles for his 12 year old brother who always wanted to meet Bubbles..

I luckily had some of my Bubbles gear in my car.. so I got it and got into character etc.. the little kid was exstatic and had his picture taken with me thinking I was the real Bubbles.. that feeling to me is wonderful.. the fact that I've made someone else happy.. its a wonderful feeling and I believe that its the reason why I'm still here.. Okay.. I'm really yapping now.. I think I'll shut up, hopefully you guys understand and get the jist of it..  :)

Yeah... I realize I have those moments.. To be honest.. doing the Bubbles voice after a while kills my vocal chords... not to mention wearing those glasses kills my damn eyes x.x.. I did a performance at Hidden Valley Resort for a Christmas party.. and wore the glasses for 2 hours...yeah.. that was a fun night... OI! Never again.. I felt like stabbing my eyes out.. they hurt like HELL..

But yeah.. my own fault, I suppose..  :P   Practice makes perfect.. hopefully.

I agree with Sarge, HB was cool to hang out with in TO. Actually, I found him to be a little shy, which he confirmed above.

Yeah.. hehe.. My shyness kinda goes away when I wear those Bubbles glasses... cuz I can't see shit then..

Heck! Thats one way of facing your fear, huh? ... just make yourself go blind and you'll never have to face it

At least you didn't break into a racist tirade (ala Kramer) after the critiscm.

What did Harvey's pay you?  Upsized rings and a Hot dog?

we used to have an on campus Harvey's in university and it sucked horribly but it was there so we ate there.  After not eating there for a while, I tried it again and fell in love with the angus burgers.  they don't have them anymore but I still prefer their fast food over anyone elses.  rant over.

Yeah.. Harveys is the best fast food too in my opinion, and probably the healthiest.. :)

As for what I got paid.. I don't normally like to discuss my payment.. because I'm worried ShowCase will sue me for impersonating Bubbles and being paid to do it.. :(

Lets just say its a three figure amount..

And as for not taking criticism.. I'm all about the criticism, because that is what will hopefully make me better.. I admire people who speak up and speak their mind and I always will.. but sometimes people push it too far..

Like, I was not exactly thrilled when Dieter was badmouthing me on another person's YouTube comments section... but you know what? I will never hold that against him.. I've heard a lot of positive comments about Dieter from ORGsters when I was in Toronto and he seems like a very decent dude, and hopefully I'll get to meet him in person sometime... :)

Anyway, a big thank you to everyone who has commented on this thread.. and if you ever have any questions or comments, or suggestions for me.. PLEASE don't hesitate to PM them to me or whatever... I promise I won't pull a "Kramer" on you..  ;)

...No

It usually depends on the place and the performance.. My sister is an actress and so is her boyfriend so we kinda sat down and decided on what to charge for my performances.. we settled on $100.00 an hour, and so far there have been no complaints from the people who hire me to do performances..

As a matter of fact thats how I got my X Mas shopping done  :) I was worried that Hidden Valley Resort wasn't going to pay me for my performances.. but they came through.. albeit a little late.. but still..

Speaking of which, if any of you are ever coming to the Muskoka region, let me know.. I can provide people with free tickets to the Deerhurst Resort LIVE Show (basically a Las Vegas show.. very adult.. very cool!) :D
