Question for the electronic savvy people here!
« on: Nov 23, 2006, 11:06 AM »
I have a few video tapes with weddings, family stuff & junk like that.  Anyway I am wondering if there is a way I can either hook up my video camera or VHS machine to my computer and record them onto a disc? lol

My hubby is the techie, but we have a program called Pinnacle Studio that he uses to transfer our tapes to DVD. It has a seperate card in the computer that has "video in" that we hook the camcorder up to. It is about $100 I think. I love it to do editing and stuff too.

Ok so just hook the cam to the PC and use a special program to transfer the tapes over to DVD.

Is Pinnacle Studio hard to use?

Thanks for your help :)
