I'm getting close to ready. Stores around here , and in Vancouver still seem chronicly understocked. Ya gotta get there shortly after they hit the shelves , or they're all gone. Sure glad that our 30 Gamecube games will play in the Wii too.

Not a chance. The kids have a tough time with the 360 so I picked the wii up mostly for them. It put me in the doghouse though. I gave it to my wife for her birthday. Ya I'm an idiot.

Buy her a new game for the Wii to make up for it.  I'm sure she'll love that.

Cappy, soon your wife will be addicted to the Wii. You and her will be taking it over from the kids. I'm sure you meant well.

Is there a "dirty" game to play with cappy's missus? Maybe lift the skirt with the Wii? Do the controllers have feedback/rumbling?

Got a Wii on Saturday. Went to a few stores in Vancouver (Wall Mart , and EB Games) , and was told that I would have no luck on a weekend , as the units get delivered during the week , 4 or 5 at a time , and sell out within a day. After I dropped the wife at her dance teacher meeting , the boys and I drove by a Zellers and went in for a look. Sure enough , they had 5 of them  . So we got the system , 3 extra controllers , 3 extra nunchucks , 4 rechargable batteries , and some games. $$$$.
Playing tennis , with 4 people in one room , is kinda dangerous. I have a touch of tennis elbow , while my wife has a case of spastic husband Wii controller tennis shoulder.

A shitty week deserves a reward in the form of Guitar Hero III. This is my first Guitar Hero experience. So much fun! Like I wasn't enough of a Wii-head already.

Yeah , I like the tennis , but the golf has more variables. I was all excited when I hit Pro Level , thinking I would unlock something...... :( . All that happens , now that I'm a pro , is that if I don't get Par or better , my standings go down. I'm still waiting for a hole in one.
I'm buying Legend of Zelda , Twilight Princess , for my sons 8th B-Day , this week. It's supposed to be a very "Wii" game. He loves all the Zeldas'
