midgets, what do you think about them?
« on: Nov 01, 2006, 05:29 PM »
Kyle: so whats up
xxxxxx: eeeuh midgets are taking over?
Kyle: dude the midget fucked the dr's wife on nip tuck last night
Kyle: what the hell
Kyle: and i hate midget wrestling
Kyle: i always have
Kyle: they won't take over as long as america has 2nd ammendment
Kyle: not on my watch

Ok so i was at this wrestling event back in 98 or 99.  THe very first hell in the cell match that WWF ever had.  Undertaker and someone, shaun michaels? i'm not sure.  Anyways at the PPV i turned my back on the midget match.  Its not that I straight out hate them, every person comes with basic rights attached.  I kind of wonder if they descended from a race of dwarves in the old style, not you know a dwarf dwarf.

Anyways this guy Tucker Max is fascinated by midgets.  He flew to Minnesota on a whim (to fuck one) when his friend texted him about a midget convention.  Pretty much all his stories are hilarious and you can read all about that one on there too.  In fact I recommend it.  I just don't understand why...

Anyways, like I say, I don't hate them, they just bother me.  So what do you think about midgets?
by the way i'm left-handed so don't anyone give me some discrimination bullshit.  We are the Korean War of minorities.

I'm bothered by midgets as much as left-handed people equally.

I can't speak for the shorter fellows, but I'm guessing we both have problems with regular scissors.  :)

The main thing that bothers me about leftys is the freakish way they use their left hand for everything..

seriously though.. in this day and age, it's kind of sad to see people actually get bothered simply because some people are different, be it midget, amputee, left or right handed, black or white, etc.. personally I don't think there's anything "wrong" per say about anyone, unless their views are so narrow they get end up getting bothered by someone's differences.

I wouldn't try to promote my beliefs, and in fact i do see how it could be construed as discriminatory.  I agree we are all gods creatures but they bother me.  Its something deep down, i've never had a bad midgital experience or anything.  i don't know its just one of those things, i'm not claiming its right.  its just the way i feel.

I wasn't saying anything about being discriminatory I don't think. Other than the obvious fact that you've singled out a certain group of people that 'bother you', and want to talk about it, I don't see anything else pointing towards discrimination, certainly not from me.

I was just giving my opinion, that people who get hung up, or bothered by certain groups because they are different is pretty stupid, and pointless in this day and age..

edit: just a question, but if you replaced the word midget with another term like 'spanish people' or 'african-americans', etc.. do you think it would be feasible, and not taken as discriminatory?

right, but instead you'd pre-judge them based on the fact that they are a midget and let it "bother you" as a result?

I would cross the street just to avoid someone with blue eyes. ;)  If you're not comfortable with a style of human, stick to your gut feelings about them but don't broadcast them. It's important to feel safe within yourself but saying shit is just not right.

yeah it would be dumb to say there are no cool midgets, wee man cracks me up and not even because he's a midget.  i have never understood midget wrestling for example though.  all i can think is what the fuck.  fishy is right its not to be broadcasted but at least i'm honest about it.  i really just wanted to start a discussion about midgets not a civil rights thing.  like does someone out there enjoy midget wrestling and why??

I like wrestling but was never comfortable with the "novelty" midget wrestling. Not because they were midgets but because they were being exploited because of how they looked.

On a physical level...no. On an emotional one...we would have to see if getting by the kind of woman that attracts me. If she were the right one then yes. There are some really cool women out there that aren't what you would consider model material but they are very attractive to me.

oh i've definitely been with some girls that aren't model quality.  but the idea of a 3 foot torso and tall forehead bouncing up and down on me is not a pleasurable thought at all. i'm just digging myself a deeper hole aren't i...

Well that's just it Kyle... am I the only one who knows you're fuckin kidding most of the time and saying shit just to push buttons?  I think your shit is funny as fuck for the most part... I don't gotta AGREE with a word you say but I can still see the humour in it!

As for the board being slow I hear ya... I drop outta here for weeks at a time cuz I get bored of the same old people talking about the same old shit and if you got a different opinion you gotta sit there and WATCH cuz they don't wanna hear it they threaten you with gettin you kicked out... to be honest I'm AMAZED you're still a member Telkyle!!

Don't see anyone telling anyone they can't speak about a certain topic.. we're just discussing things.. on a discussion board..  I can't have an opinion because I'm admin? Or Fishy, because he's mod? give me a break..

He obviously expected some sort of recoil when first posting, as the final part says "by the way i'm left-handed so don't anyone give me some discrimination bullshit." And when it looks like that's exactly what he is doing, given the fact that he singled out a certain group, and said they bothered him.. Not that I'm an expert in anything, but I'd say that's discrimination..

If we wanted to censor this site kyle, we would have just deleted it instead of letting it be a good discussion with a hot topic. Subjects like discrimination and what it means to me is a debatable topic. Not a topic filled with flaming and name calling. (which was and is how this thread is  8) )
This board has no contradictions in the way it is maintained.

I'm also fully aware that kyle is joking half the time, as per my initial replies.. I guess that wasn't obvious enough though for some apparently.
