may I take this opportunity of emphasizing that there is no cannibalism in the British Navy. Absolutely none, and when I say none, I mean there is a certain amount, more than we are prepared to admit, but all new ratings are warned that if they wake up in the morning and find toothmarks at all anywhere on their bodies, they're to tell me immediately so that I can take every measure to hush the whole thing up !

I was just directed to this video of a CBC report on the new phenomenon of this new thing called the "Internet". Granted, it's from the late 70's or early 80's Laughing

I was just thinking that my monitor looks alot like one in the clip.  Still that's 20 years ago and we've come a little ways.

When i first started university in 94 there wasn't much to do for the average person on the web.  I didn't really get into the net until prob 97-8

Love this!  It proves that some white men can dance (heh!) and I would've loved to attend the wedding reception of a couple who have such a good sense of humour.

I think the 'artist' is going for parody. Just a bit too "dumbed down" and heavy handed to really work well. http://www.jonlajoie.com/videos.html

This video is by one of my friends back in Owen Sound, ON. He didn't know who his father was until he was 17. Turns out his mom had a night of passion with Neil Young and he was the product of that night.
The song is about 9/11 and I thought you guys might like to see it today.
