Funny sidenote on the van breaking down. One of the guys that stopped to see if we needed help, gave me beer while I was waiting.  :beermug:  :D

Most of those pics were north of Banff, near Jasper. Despite the van trouble, we had fun.

Looks like you had a good time. Gotta hate vehicle troubles though. Last summer my family and I went on vacation and the transmission went on the van so we had to spend 3 days in a small, shitty town with NOTHING to do except sit in the dirty little motel and watch the three channels they offered. Oh well, it made the actual planned part of the vacation all the more sweeter when we got there I suppose.

Edit: By the way, is that a sweet ass Sunnyvale jersey I see in the picture of the broken down van?

That pic of the glacier field looks mighty familliar, I remember hitting that up on my last trip out west :)

Your pics turned out better than mine though.. back when I went, digicams were $1000+ for the smallest thing, so we used film, and the processing place totally fucked us over.

Looks like you had fun. Banff is a blast, lived there for awhile when i was a youngin. I was known as the hashman back then...golden seal  :pipe:

Lots of nice sights and im sure you have alot of nice memories as well.

We had to sit in the ditch cause there wasn't much of a shoulder and we were just around the bend. Too much big trucks going thru. didn't wanna get smoked.
