How much they fine you?  I wonder if you pissed your pants in public, would they fine you too?  Or would they just toss you in the drunk tank with Randy and Lahey.

Yup, Canada Day at The Forks in Winnipeg.  Had a great time there, had a few wobblies down on a patio at The Spaghetti Factory.  A few oooohhhs and aaaaaawwwwwws for the big fireworks display.  Lookin' forward to the next long weekend!

The Dude: Oh, no I did, but I spent most of my time occupying various administration buildings... smoking a lot of thai stick... breaking into the ROTC... and bowling. To tell you the truth Brandt, I don't remember most of it.

Aye the Forks is great on Canada Day.  Very packed though so you have to get there early. :gocanada:

Just to let all you know that the TPB's did not get ignored this Canada Day while down in the USA. I celebrated by holding a Canada Day BBQ in Edmonds, WA but something was missing so we got the boy's Christmas DVD, put it up on a ledge by the food where everyone could see it and put red candles and Cnd flags all around it. Of course, no one knew who or what the hell it was all 'aboot' except for my Canadian friends that came down but it added that little something that was missing.

Had a great 3 months here (not everyone is a Bush-loving crazy person) but looking forward to getting back to good ol' Canada. And Showcase.

I finally got around to downloading my pics from Canada Day.  Went to a buddy's place for some swimming and BBQ and fireworks.

Here's the Ribs I prepared for the day.  Dry rubbed with my own special blend, then smoked over apple wood for 3.5hrs.  I didn't get a pic after, but they were good.  I also made my own sauce with the same ingredients as the rub.

Also included a pic of our fire, getting rid of my old patio and one of my angel.
