I think they do, thats why so many people are hooked..

Nahh... I think that's the crack!

Ever notice this: Tim Hortons Coffee....
THC!!!!!!
Maybe that's why I like it so much, cause it is pretty shitty coffee, you just get used to it and start to like it. I think mostly it's the convenience
of it. Not to mention that tetrahydrocannabinol + caffeine =  8)

Ever since I started buying beans from a local world class coffe roaster and grinding them myself each morning ,pretty well all other coffe tastes like dirt. Even the leftover grind from yesterday has lost much of its flavor.

I never have breakfast.
I get up late so it is always brunch. This morning I had a BLT, milk, and o.j.. Yesterday morning - brown rice cream, topped with natto and finely chopped okra, drank tea. Day before was chicken noodle soup (Cambells) with tons of unsalted crackers, drank milk. Day before that it was a toasted bagel and a fruit and yogurt smoothie.
Weekends my wife makes huge Southern style brunch, with grits and biscuits and gravy and spicy pork sausage, pancakes or french toast, bacon, fruit cups with yogurt, etc.
Like I said, I never have breakfast.

I don't drink coffee, so I will usually have a diet pepsi which freaks a lot of people out for some reason.

It's not the Diet Pepsi that turns people's heads ... it's the Bacardi you're pouring into it.

Good going on the weight loss, Ghostdog!   :D

Cheers,
B.

I can't understand how people can just skip breakfast like a lot of you do. :P  .

I find a pot of coffee and a half dozen smokes usually kills off any urge I might have to eat breakfast. :D

They supply us with donuts here at work on Fridays, so that is what I'm having for breakfast today.  And yes they are from Tim Hortons.

Ooooohhh there's the toaster, gotta go butter it before it gets cold.

Oh, processed cheese? I'm not a fan. It tends to stick to the roof of your mouth... it's just so...processed. LOL

Eww, polymer plastic cheese.  It's only slightly better than the dreaded aerosol can cheese.  'Squeezy Cheese, for when it's almost food but not quite'.

Way to go PX!!!!!!!
That's awesome, man!
How'd you do it? Patch? Zyban? Cold Turkey?
mmmmm... turkey

I've tried quitting a few times, and once quit for 6 months. But I always seem to come back... eventually.
I never seem to have a problem quitting... all I have to do is put my mind to it, and after about a week of being smoke free it's usually smooth sailing after that. Where I have problems is when I've had a few drinks. Once I get a few in me, I'm DYING for a smoke, and eventually break down and have one.
...then maybe two... then only when I'm drinking.. then before I know it I'm back to a pack a day.

IT'S ALL WILLPOWER!!
Best of luck!

Jaloopa,

Ever dine at the MicMac Beverage Room? Their food is quite good and the portions are certain to expand the limits of ones attire. The steak and eggs brunch is my favourite...phuck I'm gettin' hungry.

This morning I had two Eggo Waffles( Whole Wheat & Blueberry ) with a little bit of E.D.Smith No Sugar Added Syrup and a glass of Skim Milk. I never used to worry about breakfast but I have to eat it since I found out I'm a Diabetic ( found out last year ). But it has me eating healthier and because of it, I have lost 52 pounds...... so it's not all bad!

Good on ya! Sorry to be a downer ,but my 53 year young step Dad died a year ago from lung cancer .Horrible shit! I held his hand while he drew his last breath. He felt so guilty for continuing to smoke for all the years that he knew it was dangerous.

I wouldn't wish that end on anyone ..not even GES, so stick with it!

Maybe some residents of the VTP should stop by fur brunch or supper? Are there any folks interested in meeting for a hearty meal at the MicMac...just not in the next 24 hours? An old buddy is comin' down this evening to setup a spankin' new computer (dual boot MS & Linux based OS's). Further, F1 and the De La Hoya vs. Hopkins fight is airin' on TSN late tomorrow. Due to the foregoing, therefore, I won't be eatin' any BACON wrapped BEEF - grilled to perfection - in the short term.

On an aside, the MicMac beverage Room has gargantuan sized strip loins(?) available to ravenous patrons. I suggest that Mike Clattenburg and friends (cast/crew) check this special order item out on their next visit. And explore the possibilities in incorporating such in a future episode. Frankly, I’ve never embarked on consuming a 30 plus ounce grilled steak on my many trips to the MicMac Beverage Room. I do, however, believe that 15 cheeseburgers equates to one HUGE phuckin steak. Say somewhere in the order of 60 ounces, i.e., if each cheeseburger equals a quarter pound.
