No one enjoys those "My feelings are hurt, and I'm tired of . . ." - farewell threads, so this is just a note to say that I will miss being active here. I don't plan to cancel my membership, and I will check my PMs and try to stay in touch with those who wanna be in touch with me.

I'm sorry you were unable to put the issue of post count to rest Ben. I locked that topic because it was DONE. Not so you could come along and yet again suggest someone else make a thread (like the poll) to fascillitate your desire for seeing a big fat post count below your name.

I removed your post 5-6 maybe more times.. I attempted to send you a PM, but got an error message every time, but unfortunately you were intent on re-adding your reply - as everytime I would remove it, it would pop right back up a minute or so later.

And you have the audacity to ask me if I have no shame.. right

Extreme vanity, or madness, and obviously not very attached to anyone here , if he can walk away so quick over so little ....

Just to be perfectly clear, I am not canceling my membership, and deciding to minimize my presence here is not really because of the post count business. That was just the tip of the iceberg.

I had been feeling like leaving active posting for a while, because for a very long time, perhaps from the beginning, I have had a hard time getting along with the owner. That being said, I have never met Andrew, and I have no personal animosity towards him. It is his board and he does a very good job with the technical end of things.

I will clean out my PM box soon - so I can get PMs again. Mods have double storage space and mine was near the mod limit . . now that I have been fired I gotta make do with less space.

 (It was a typically silly business, as described by Andrew. I made a post suggesting that the many members who wanted to retain their visible counts could have a little thread where we reminded  each other of our counts, etc. Not an illegal post by any means, but Andrew put it in the trash and I posted it again, and he took it down again, etc. Like I say - silly stuff - and not really something to get fired of fight about, but then - I'm not the boss.)

I am not feeling bad at all, I have loved being here and I have done everything I wanted to do as regards TPB/ORG business. Thanks for all the good times and friendship, keep in touch with me and I'll keep in touch with you.

Wouldn't that just go against the point of the democrate poll you so fought for? you where the only one that kept stirring up the post count argument, you even quoted yourself cause you couldn't quote someone else that voiced your opinion in there? I can so understand that CD wants to end the post count "topic" and not create a whole new topic about everyones posts counts ..  Your a mod and you obviously knew CD was deleting your post in that topic since only mods could enter it..  and still you keep reposting it what did you expect cd would do? Imo not so silly when you create an 8 page debate and then when you loose it by democratic vote you still wont completely give up on it..

Likewise.. from your inauspicious beginnings on the Showcase site creating multiple usernames to boost your reputation on the forums, it's a wonder I was never able to warm up to someone of your stature. I'm sorry, but the last time I undermined the wishes of someone in an authoritative position, it didn't go over too well.. Surely you couldn't have expected a positive outcome from your actions. 'Silly stuff' as you say indeed..

Well I'm just going to say something in regards to your reply and this is not a personal comment, it is a business comment, so please do not take it personal. When Andrew elected to close that thread, it was a done deal, end of story, that means no more posts, including yourself as a MOD, unless instructed to by Andrew. And by posting after he had closed that thread, you disrespected his position to close that thread, not once but numerous times.

Irregardless, of how you feel about Andrew on a personal level, you are allowing your personal feelings to conflict with business and I'm sorry but on a board or in any level of business, that can not be shown to the members/customers, etc. because when that happens and the "public" sees it, it does not reflect well on the business and well if the customers see the staff getting away with shit, the customers will begin to pull shit.

Andrew may not be generating revenue from this site, nor may he consider it a business, however in certain aspects it still needs to be treated like a business. I don't know what Andrew is like as a boss, but from what I've seen he has his moments just like any other boss would and just like you as staff do. And frankly as a board member, ive said this numerous times before, I'm just happy to be here and greatful that he created this place for us all to have fun.
