Topic: Season 6 Final Thoughts?

I just finished watching my VHS tape of season 6 . Well , all except "Where The F*%k Is Oscar Goldman" . I fucked up and pulled a CoryandTrevor on that night , and missed taping it TWO times. 

There are some great scenes there!!

In The Way of the Road , Bubbs singing "His name is Duke , and he's a good Cat" , I can't get that song outta my head!! (come on Mike , we need some more lines to that song!)

In The Cheeseburger Picnic , Stoned Lucy and Sarah!! 

In High Definition Piss Jugs , C+T fucking up the interview with Steve , then Sarah rushes in to intervene , but still gets a plug in for the .65 cent cigs. Then later , Lucy and Sarah , stoned again! Sarah saying "That's the father of your child" and "Oh shit! , poor Bubbles!"

In Halloween 1977 , Bubbs and BoBandy , surfing for porn , to help figure out his sexual orientation confusion.

In "Give Me My Fucking Money , Or Randy's Dead" , I read Bubbles sign "Cats are just like little people with fur coats" , and Trev's T-shirt , FBI (female body inspector , a guy in highschool had the same shirt)
BUT , the BEST SCENE from Season 6.......  "Stoned Snack Time"!!! Ricky drinking dressing , Bubbles drinking Pepto Bismol , and the very best , the way that Cory and Trevor were munching on the celery , all with that great song in the background!

So , lets summarize the high points of this all to short , but classic season.....

  I keep laughing hard when I think about Ricky in the Cheeseburger Picnic  episode where he is describing Lucy "banging" Randy... He says something  about not being able to get over the fact that Lucy was banging Randy, even years later. It's hilarious when he starts that rant with "fucking randy .."

"Gimme My Fucking Money Or Randy's Dead" - For some reason I find it funny how when Randy goes to turn the Laheymobile out of the driveway then he almost hits the Taxi. Lahey says "Randy for fuck sakes!" then, while drunk, gives Randy directions on how to turn the car out of the driveway.

Barb hitting on Julian, Lahey hitting on Julian, Trevor talking about sucking poison out of Ricky's dick, Trevor telling Lahey that Julian's outside being all sexy or however it was that he put that. And Lahey running around the house guzzling all that booze like a mad man while Barb was outside talking to Randy.

Not much of an ongoing storyline but the buys behind the show cannot be blamed for that because of the movie and all. However, they had MANY funny scenes and I laughed throughout a lot of this season. It was amazing to see the boys not in jail at the end and EVERYTHING going perfect. It was so weird to see that it was amazing actually.

A lot of the minor characters did much more as well. We saw A LOT of C&T which was fuckin AWESOME!! Those two did amazing this year. So many classic lines of season 6 came from them.

I'll give this season a 8/10

Pity the only thing we saw Julian stripping was wallpaper.

Over all, I loved it.. You cant "not like" this show. I'll have to watch it all again to pick up on the small stuff I missed. Not my favorite season because it was so different but still funny as hell.. I'll forgive them for the things that lacked this season due to the movie and whatever but the Boys better bring the shit to the table next season 

Also think that MJ is a bit of a nerd for leaving the show... Just mho.

aww come on man, MJ is not a nerd for leaving the show, he just wants different things for himself is all. Yeah I'm going to miss him and Cory on there alot but after spending a fine evening talking to the both of them, I learned alot of things about who they really are, what they want and why they are leaving and i respect their decisions.

I recorded every episode on digital tv with my dvd recorder that i bought just to record TPB shows.
Season 6 i suggest everyone watch the episodes again as you will find comedy that you missed the first time you seen the shows.
Ive seen some people post they didnt find season 6 as funny,watch them again.

Yeah I was very pleased with season 6.  I made most of my comments in the ep threads but basically I liked the fact that they went back to the more basic episodes that relied more on the characters and subtle humor rather than lots of chaos.  I never watched TPB for complicated storylines, I watched it for comedy and that is what they delivered.  I loved how the wrapped up the season, it was good to see a happy ending for a change.

one of the biggest moments, had me laughing to death on the carpet, was the fight Lahey - Cory and Trevor Vs Sarah

"but I heard you broke up with cheeseburger walrus...
-onionring sasquatch!" then they give eachothers five and at that point I was already suffocating fromn laughter, Lahey's face at that moment is of pure indignation for the better comical effect!

"you better step off Mr Lahey!
-Step off where trevor?!
-...
-...
-Shitledge!" now that one totally killed me  shitledge 
 then sarah steps it and they still keep fighting off, Lahey gets pissed when Trevor repeats Onionring Sasquatch and try to grasp him

there is so much funny stuff hapening in that series, I just love ricky when he explains some shady entreprise of his (or why he is called Reveen ) that face..lol!
but the convenients store fight is my favourite.
and the happy ending is just so great too, witht he little music and all

So, the end of the sixth season. . .  I really liked eppy 6, I like the fact that they ended the season on a happy note.  I think this season has returned, a little bit, to a "lighter" feel, which I enjoyed.  I thought S5 had a rough edge, and as much as I love watching TPB, the boys seemed kind of, I don't know, mean.  But this year, although a few of the eppy's were a bit light on laughs, I thought it was good. Totally looking forward to the movie.   Only 58 days to go woo-hoo!

im gunna have to say it was one of the worst seasons, i know the movie is coming out but I would have rather they made a 20 episode season and no movie at all, almost nothing happened

Just don't expect other forum members to agree with you.. because we don't judge episodes and seasons on whether they are good or sucked.. In the majority of the forum members opinions.. EVERY episode and EVERY season was excellent..

Also.. please keep in mind that Season 6 was rushed because the movie was being filmed at the same time..

I'm not saying it sucked I'm just saying i think it could of been alot better, i understand about the movie but i think they should of put more effort in the show before the movie. what i mean about nothing happening as well is nothing really sticks out this season like you see them growing dope/selling it only in what that last one or two episodes. There are so many other tv shows on with 20+ episodes a season not even close to as good as trailer park boys i think there should of been alot more hopefully season 7 will have at least double the amount

That may be a bit of a stretch.  If you read the episode threads you can get a better feel of what members felt about the episodes.
