is what Ive been getting today and yesterday.

I've done some research and I've found that on the same day that you received that error, Vanny: by sheer coincidence In 1907, A dutch bishop forbade Christians in Holland from joining The Dutch Textile Union. In isolation that may not seem so significant.  :?  However...

Now let me take you to August 18, 1957... 50 years later to the day! A lady by the unassuming name of Betty Dodd wins the LPGA Colonial Golf Open. Pure coincidence?? :-k

I believe these three events to be inexorably linked through the space/time continuum. If you can find the common threads... If we can just identify the smoking gun.. then I believe we can get the nebula of this problem, Gentleman - and rip it out by it's insidious roots.

I guess most of you know that the Org was down today for a few hours.  Apparently the servers were being updated with new software and that was the reason for the problems.  Not sure if everything is back to normal though.  One thing that I have noticed is that I do not have the graphic header of certain pages. ie: the toaster oven with the chicken fingers with Randy & Lahey. Oh I can see it on the homepage and on the page when I click on the "Show unread posts since last visit" button. But I cannot see it on this page now or when I go to any of the boards/sub-boards.  The graphics want to load but it eventually goes blank and all I have is a black screen.  If I right click on the graphic before it goes away I get the You're an Idiot message  So just saying hopefully everthing will be back to normal soon

I don't know if it has to do with my computer today, or if it is site related, but the picture at the top of the screen (Randy, Lahey & the chicken fingers) has been wonkier than normal. I know we've had an issue with the picture not showing up at all at the top of some of the screens (which usually happens after I reply to a thread), but today it's like taken one of the portions of the picture & repeated/tiled it. The whole box was filled with the "boys.org" part a few moments ago.

I just don't have any picture at all. It starts to load with all X's and disappears. It's been like that for months for me. I don't get any "tiles" at all. Other than that, the board has been working great.

I have the header picture on some threads/pages and not on others.  It's been that way for months.  I haven't received any e-mail notifications of topics that I replied to for about a week now.  Otherwise the site has been loading ok.

E-mail notifications working fine for me. Have you checked your settings in your profile lately DavidB? If you go to your profile and look under Modify Profile, you can click on Notifications and E-mail to adjust the settings.

Yeah I have checked that but still a no go  :?  This has happened before though.  Usually a few times a year.  This last time though it has lasted longer than usual. But as Ricky says it's no big deal  :ricky:
