A (positive!) statement for Sarah D.
« on: May 15, 2006, 11:15 AM »
I was reading back in one of the posts and I read how Sarah doesn't like to check up on the posts here because she hates reading rude/stupid things about the show and its cast members.  So I thought I would pass along a few positive words for the next time she finds her way here :)

I just wanted to say that as both an actor and character, I've always looked up to Sarah the most out of any other person on the show.  Although unlike many of you, I've never had the pleasure of meeting her, but she seems like a really strong, down-to-earth, genuine person from what I've seen and heard and read, and I look up to that.  I really wish there were more positive role models like Sarah in the media, with real personalities and real body types.

Anyway Sarah, thanks for being on the show!  This is going to sound really cheesy, but you've inspired me to keep being me! Especially since I'm working toward going into broadcasting myself at the moment, and worry that I'm going to have to end up as some 90 pound, bleach blonde bimbo to get there.  So thanks again!

Oh, and I love the hair.  You also inspired me to dye to red.  It looked hot  :D

Thanks blonde,

That needed to be said.  Maybe we could start a thread of Sarah's wise remarks from the show or something like that.

it is a small-budget show and i appreciate the fact that the acting is meant to be a little odd because it is intended to be a bunch of people sometimes not sure how to act in front ofthe cameras.  however, i think the best actors on the show are John Dunsworth, Sarah, and jonathon Torrens.  although i appreciate and love the awkwardness some of the others often potray, it seems to me that these three never seem to be ansy in front of the camera, and are just "on."

Oh come on, she's "inspired you to keep being you" and how would you gather that by with her character? Her character is a snobby, mean, bitchy person who thinks she's Lucy's bodyguard, as great as TPB's is, its hardly a vice to get inspiration from.

This is the kind of posts Sarah D. dislikes reading. I encourage anyone who see's my post to remember that YOU DON'T STAND A CHANCE with Sarah and you don't need to make posts like that. She and Lucy are great looking , nice people who don't particularly like being cyber-groped. If we want them to continue posting then please try to keep the  :perv1: talk down.
BTW, my avatar with Sarah is "Sarah approved" I PM'ed her for permission to use it. It's all about respect.

Hey KBF BR made a point to say she was talking about Sarah the actor not just the character, and the 3 times I met her at the Marquee parties she did impress me as a very down-to-earth and genuine person, very friendly.

Everyone should just be themselves. Thats what the TPB message is all about. Be respectful, but be yourself. I love the sense of community in the trailer-park-world. All the laughs shared (and the odd tear)...

I feel really thankful that Sarah takes time to come on here and share. That is really sweet and makes the show THAT much better.

    Cheers Sarah D

Fishy,

I don't want to bang her, I don't want to be her boyfriend.  I'm just giving her a compliment, which is what she (and every woman) needs.  Notice the reference to the episode where she explains her relationship with C&T. :D

I am not "cyber groping" her.  Just giving her a compliment.

Besides, I got my kitties to keep me warm.  Not Ricky's ex girlfriend or Randy's Wanna-be girlfriend.

Keep it real Sarah, you've got fans!  I do not need to meet you in person to tell you that you rock.

This is a cool effect here.

I know that dude. 8)  I was just letting you and everyone else who reads these posts that she doesn't like those types of comments. It is buried in the archives somewhere and I didn't expect you, or anyone else who is relatively new, to know that. It was just a semi-humorous way of letting you know. No disrespect to you.
Your post should be addressed to Sarah and not Fishy. Read it again.

No animosity cheers
(sorry again Ben)

Dear KBF,

You don't seem to get the gist of Sarah.  She is not a "bitchy bodyguard" or something.  She is a woman who doesn't take shit from anyone; man or woman.  She got the boys to treat Trevor and Cory with some dignity.  Albeit animal dignity (although for some people that is better treatment than they get as humans).  Brava for Sarah!

The save she made in front of Steve Rogers at the Convenients Store was a classic!

She protects and stands up for us underdogs!  Thank you very much, because someone has to!  If you look around, the trailer park is full of them.

She is invaluable in her assessments regarding relations in the park.  You need to rewatch those episodes and see her with different eyes.  That is one tough woman who still retains her femininity.  That is tough to get nowadays.  That is the reason I really like the Sarah character.

My ex-girl friend had died red hair and we once a few sheets to the wind and she says to me " Is my hair that as dark red as sarah's?" , well I had to scratch my brain compartment to think of what answer she wanted to hear. I was in a catch-23 because I was fucked ethier way I answered. I remember it was a funny scene...

Definetly there were funny parts in this season, I just thought the quality of the storylines weren't up to usual Clattenburg standards.

KBF, honestly, would like prefer that Mike C used the same grow dope, go to jail story line every season.  I think that would be a little more boring, than having a season where no one has a clue what's going on.

I think this season was a little lighter on the boys humour, but we had characters like Cory, trevor, Lahey, randy and of course SARAH, turn it up a notch.

By the way, I don't care when people call me, por ,my character a bitch. My character IS a bitch! Sometimes I am a major Biotch! Ask my boyfriend...

I just hate the "who is hotter" shit, Lucy and I are equally hot and my self esteem is already fucked enough without having to hear a bunch of nonsense picking me apart - but here's the thing, it doesn't mean you guys can't write it! It just means I have to ignore it, or not read it, or get a fucking life already and not read the boards and/or care what people say! Also, I hate hearing bad stuff about Lucy because she is my homie and I loves her.

okay, why did I bother with this rant? Because i love to blab on!

Sarah is one of the besty people i have ever met in my life. she is respectful of everyone, hilarious, hot as fuck, and does everything she can to make folks around her feel fantastic...but not in a stupid hallmark way. being near here makes me want to be a better person.
