When lahey and randy both drink it makes the show so much funnier because they fight with the boys more causing more chaos.

I agree.. i dont know what they are doing...There are funny parts.. but for the most part its just blah..  Randy being the main guy sucks.. Lahey needs to be drunk... Bring back phil! Where is cyrus?

FYI I use vlc as a media player. It will play anything and you don't have to worry about downloading codec etc. Ive used it for a couple years now with no problem. Its free with no Spyware bundled to it. Take a look and try

I thought it was a great episode. It was great to see J-Roc!! He was funny as fuck when he was tearing on Randy :lol:

That scene was great!!
It is going to be nice to see what happens with Jim and the force. Might be cool to see him with the police again :lol:

Hehe isn't that funny Melba...when you see stuff and wonder why its there, then when you watch the ep its like a light goes on!

The best part about the beginning with Bubbs and Randy was when they were finished and they were leaving the shed and Bubbs says to Randy "Well Randy it seems your attracted to a bunch of stuff....thats perfectly normal."  Completely accepting Randy's lifestyle...even if he didn't want to look at "that thing" on the computer, he helped Randy out.

J-ROC rippin on Randy was hilarious, otherwise...meh.

Good to have to backstory points about Lahey filled in, and otherwise lots of drama in that eppy, but I'm more about the laughs, so this one wasn't my favorite.

Also, the opening was a little weird.  I saw Randy running like that, and I immediately thought of when he was chasing Lahey at the cheeseburger picnic.  But then, no emergency, he's just come to visit Bubbles and talk about his "confusion".  So kinda disappointing because what started as a potential action sequence..turned into Dr. Phil

Sounded like you weren't too happy that she WAS listening to most of his psychobabble, that's all.  I've never really watched the show.  Just heard the occasional outtake on The Daily Show, and read the occasional article about what he's like in real life..

This episode is not bad watched sober.  At first it seemed predictable based upon the spoilers but all-in-all it has some surprising extras.  I was kind of expecting for Sarah to take up with Randy since she has not had a man since season 3 with Ricky!!!

This leaves a number of ways for episode 6 to go down.  Yes, I wish that they had 20+ episodes like most series have, but think about it, if they did would many discussion boards be open to the series or would we be claiming that everything was stale after the second season.

I've found the current season to be very disappointing (though I loved the Oscar Goldman episode), so much so I haven't bothered to watch the S5 DVD set. Episode five was dreary save for the J-Roq bits and Lahey's dialogue. The Star Wars Halloween flashback should have been a potential goldmine for hilarity, but I thought it fell flat. It looks like to me that perhaps the film took so much creative juice that there was very little left for Season Six. Maybe Clattenburg and the writers need a breather and come back refreshed for a seventh season. If the series continues this downward spiral into a seventh season, I'd want the series ended before it became embarrassing. However, I've been watching since Season One, so I'm hoping tonight's season finale will make up for a dull, dull season.
