Bubbles on the radio in Toronto!

 Torontos' CFNY are having a contest. The person who brings in the most famous person wins a hole pile of shit. Someone this morning, before 5 brought Bubbles in. He must of been in town for the big game. He was, of course, in character and funny as fuck. A pretty girl brought him in (so said the dj), they joked that they found him(Bubs) wandering around. Later on after Bubbles had departed, this arsehole dj, Dean Blondell, questioned Bubbles legitamacy as a celeb, holy fuck I went nuts, I'll never listen to that fucker again. He also questioned TPB humor! So theres two Toronto djs I won't listen to any more. The other one is that fuck knuckle at Q-107 Derringer. Blondell also slagged Bubbs for being in character and the almighty fucken Sean Penn would never go out in public as that retard he played in that movie. Its all going on because of the film fest papparazzi bullshit in tinsle-town right now. :bubs:    :bubbles:
once a trailer park boy always a trailer park boy

I was in Toronto a couple of weeks ago showing my boyfriend the places I used to hang out at on Younge St. I passed a Money Mart and saw a banner with the boys on it over their front door. I said "See man, they are big up here!"

I thought the ad was funny & went along well with the TPB image. When we were driving down the Gardenier Expwy, I half expected to see a billboard with them on it because I heard how popular they were up there.
You might be sexy Julian....but you can't teach me anything about liquor....

That was pretty low of the DJ to start dissing Bubbles after he left.  It would have been interesting to see what Bubbles would have said if he said it in front of him.  Perhaps Bubbles and/or Mike Smith will be given a chance to respond.

BTW I don't have much use for radio DJs, but I do remember finding Humble and Fred pretty funny, especially the Humble Report, when I lived in the Toronto area.  They were on the alternative station, are they still around?

Holy shit, I guess they would have to tone down their act a bit then.

40-50 year old women? O christ I am older than I thought I was...I dont mind that station, plays everything and with all the crap on the radio its nice to not have to flip around so much. Though I did not spend 5G on a car stereo to listen to the stupid radio!
Avoid the mourning after, don't drink and drive

Yeah, my daughter heard Bubbles on CFNY this morning, but she missed the back-stabbing the dj did.
Said Bubbles did a little singing. Personally I hate "talk" radio. What radio stations do you listen to? I like to shower with CKOC AM or CHUM AM for the early rock'n roll. Later in the day I listen to either CBC FM(classical) or CJRT FM(jazz). Talk radio and Soft Rock make me feel tired.

I listened to cfny again today and Jeremy Taggart was explaining his buddy Mike Smith to the morning crew. He stated that Mike was 4 sheets to wind. He was on a 12 hour shift of doubles vodkas and o.j.. They were treating it like it was wrong, I had to laugh at that, Canada fucken cup morning, I wish I could of been still drunk at 5 am after that game! I wonder if he was drinking out of his coffee pot? Taggart said he had been with Smith until 2-3 am but Bubbs got away and headed her to ny to go on the radio fucken eh! I guess he even fell over in the studio! Keep up the good work and enjoy it.
