True that Curb Your Enthusiasm is not on Showcase anymore, but it IS on HBO. There is still another season (4) that has not been aired in Canada yet! Probably soon though.

Season 4 is hilarious. I reccomend you download it.

I had to vote for Curb Your Enthusiasm, because I think it makes me laugh the hardest. It's a tie between that and Seinfeld, but since no one voted CYE yet, I chose that. Larry David is my hero.

I would say the funniest show other than Trailer Park Boys is its American Cousin "Arrested Development". These are the best two shows on television in my opinion.

Ah, The Office... the whole reason I got into TPB in the first place! I love it.

I had to go with Chapelle's Show on this one. He is seriously twisted. Tuesday, we had statewide (Mississippi) mayoral and alderman/ city council elections, and there was a guy who ran for city council in Hattiesburg, (bear with me...) whose name was Rick James. Because of the Chappelle skit--"I'm Rick James, bitch" most of the guy's yard signs were stolen (Hattiesburg is a college town!). He got so much national media attention. The Daily Show (why isn't that on the list?) did a bit on him on Tuesday. The sad bit is that he lost. I thought he was sure thing!

Holy Fhak!!! I was gonna type in THE CHAPPELLE SHOW!!! I'M RICK JAMES BEYATCH!!!! You beat me to it...I also like the skit where Charlie Murphy plays basketball against Prince...And who can forget...The Black-White Supremisist....Any idea when the second season will be out on DVD?

I just caught part of Mad TV tonight and Bobby Lee was doing a 24 parody, I totally think that if the 'floppy bird brothers' need another relative, Bobby Lee could totally do it. In the skit, Lee was sitting around in his bikini underwear playing video games!
Mad TV is a really funny show, I've been watching it pretty much from the beginning, and I think it's getting more hilarious every year. It's so much better than Saturday Night Live now.

The Prince skit is fucking great. The "shirts against the blouses game," enough said. And then, "he made us pancakes." I'm telling you anything that Charlie Murphy does is fan-fucking-tastic. I love when they do the Playa-Haters Ball and his little 'shake'. Clayton Bixby is a classic; the end line is my favorite...

The Lil' John shit gets me everytime...Yea-aaaauh! O-Kay.

I know that Season two is supposed to be released the last week of May, but with all the bullshit surrounding the taping of the third season, who knows?

Player Hater's Ball is the best Chappelle skit. Pure gold. I agree on that Prince playing basketball one.

My favourite show is a british comedy called Bo Selecta which none of you guys would have even heard of. In that selection you have listed 3 of my all time favourites which I could not possibly choose between.
curb your enthusiasm - I love the comedy in this show. How one event leads up to another and comes back to hit him in the face is hilarious.
family guy - some of the jokes they have are copied from The Simpsons but I find this show a hell of a lot funnier and I am ecstatic that they are bringing it back.
the ali g show - ah a british comedy, damn I love this show.It is funny how he pretends he is black and always asks stupid questions. I remember the first episode of ali g in the USAiii how he pretends to be a cop.  There were another 2 or 3 series' in the UK but I don't think North America got to see them.

As for the other ones, The Simpsons I used to like when I was younger but it seems repetitive. I have not seen any of the others.

South Park has my heart, so does this one cartoon about the animated characters living in the house, I don't know the name but it is on the comedy channel Sat. nights. Any one know what I am talking about?

Holy shit, I was watching that ep, and those were my exact thoughts! You almost wanna fly Bobby Lee up to Canada.

As far as TV comedy goes, for my money, Father Ted is THE funniest show of all time. It blows me away, even on the zillionth viewing.

Seeing as I've heard so much about it, yesterday I opened winamp and went on internet TV and watched the Chappelle show. I was very impressed. I didn't get to see the infamous rick james bitch but I saw this guy who was addicted to drugs and it's so funny.

Tyrone Biggums--the crack addict? Classic Chappelle!

Let's all hope Dave gets out of rehab or the institution soon, so he can provide us with more great characters.

I loves me some Brent Butt and the gang.  Good taste ya have, Islander!

B.

Thanks    :D   He was Off the Record on TSN a while back along with Jay and Silent Bob.  I thought Brent was just hillarious.  Somehow the subject turned to Poutine.  He made the joke of POOH-TEEN = A teenage superhero with strange powers.  Giggled for days after.   :D

Anyone mention Fawlty Towers yet?   Just a small handful of episodes made but some of the best comic television ever.  Perticularly the German episode.      "Don't mention the war!".

Ah Go On Shitrock you will have another cup of tea! Mrs Doyle is an absolute legend. Its such a shame that Dermot Morgan passed away or Father Ted would still be going strong now.

My favourite show is a british comedy called Bo Selecta which none of you guys would have even heard of
