Bud(light) gets my vote(much <3 for Anheuser!), though I usually stick w/ hard-liquor/mixed drinks, because if I slack on my beer drinking at all, it's sleep time.

Even though Molson is to you guys what Budweiser is to us, I love it.  When I am in San Diego at my buddie's Irish pub that is owned by an Irish dude and a Vancouverite, I usually drink Kokkanee because it is impossible to get elsewhere.  I also like Keith's but it is impossible to find down here.

Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weisse (which is a Hefeweizen style or wheat beer) gets my vote hands down. Fuck I LOVE that stuff. Num num num!!!!! :D :D :D

Other beers I like:

- Heineken (my 2nd favourite)

- Molson Canadian (not really something I'll buy purposely but I'll drink it if its around. I.E.
like last night while at the TPB Variety Show)

Had some kind of Alexander Keith's a few months back with my girlfriend @ the time. Can't remember what kind it was (as I was pretty ripped) but I'm thinking it was the "India Pale Ale." Thought it was pretty good too.

I like some Delerium, ever had it? expensive stuff. I'd like to try some local breweries while in Nova Scotia, any suggestions? (I found this site of local listings: http://beerme.com/region.php?115)

It produces a very interesting effect under 120 mW of green laser light...

The interesting thing about this particular brew was the "suspended" particles in this exposure visible in-between the "moving" particles shown here by their upward motion trails.

Thanks to the staff of the Beer Sellar in downtown Nashville for allowing us to perform our laser experiments at the bar! check out the selection at http://www.beersellar.net/nashville/default.html

Here's the full photo album of our laser beer adventure if anyone's interested: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2142965&l=6f4fe2fec5&id=607051513

That Delirium is crazy stuff. I'm sure I've seen it for sale in Halifax somewhere. I tried a bunch of that 12%+ Trappist beer in Amsterdam, I tell ya, it's more potent than anything you can smoke in a coffee shop (I imagine.)  ;)

As for local NS, Propeller is great. They also make some kickass ginger beer as well.

Irish Beer is proof that God exists because that stuff is like drinking heaven. :)

I used to be a fan of Bud, but now it just tastes flat to me. I used to like drinking Molson's XXX until I had an unfortunate incident involving a case of that and some chinese food.

Bathams is the best ale I've ever drunk, it's a popular local beer from the Midlands in England. As far as the rest, I'm partial to the continental white beers. But as far standard lagers go, I always go for a Kronenburg.

anything that comes in a cube (30pack) and is under $20 USD with a high alcohol content is the beer for me.

Gimme a Sammy please;

Samichlaus Bier
Samichlaus beer is brewed once a year, in each case on December 6th, and stored and matured afterwards for over 10 months before it is bottled. "Samichlaus beer can mature for many years in the bottle; older vintages obtain a complexity and receive their creamy warm aftertaste. This beer can be served with heavy meals and desserts, particularly with chocolate - or as digestive and meditations drink. According to the Guinness Book of Records, it is the strongest lager beer in the world with 14 % alcohol

Banks (Guyana, South America) and Carib (Trinidad).
Since I seldom drink beer I can get by with most draft topped with a lil' Clamato juice or Bloody Caesar mix.
