I had a vivid dream this morning between snooze alarms. Normally this isn't significant, but something someone said in the dream seems strange. I was with a former co-worker & he said he had a 'wizard idea'; from the context, 'wizard idea' means a cool idea. I'm puzzled where that came from? Was 'wizard' ever used to mean cool?

Still curious about this, so I looked it up myself:

An exclamation of joy, similar to "cool" or "great." Origens are unknown, but it is featured heavily in the book, "Lord of the Flies."
"We can use Piggy's specs to make a fire!"
"Wizard!"
I haven't read
Lord of the Flies in years, it's strange that I would have that bit of knowledge still lodged in my brain.
