Topic: What did you dream last night ?

I had a vivid dream this morning between snooze alarms. Normally this isn't significant, but something someone said in the dream seems strange. I was with a former co-worker & he said he had a 'wizard idea'; from the context, 'wizard idea' means a cool idea. I'm puzzled where that came from? Was 'wizard' ever used to mean cool?

I haven't read Lord of the Flies in years, it's strange that I would have that bit of knowledge still lodged in my brain.

Melba, I searched the term "Wizard Idea" and got thousands of hits! I'd never heard it before either. I also can't remember it from Lord Of The Flies.

I dreamt that I was at a party with all of you awesome folks, celebrating TPB in all of its glory, when some shitknocker busted open the door, ran around the room slapping everyone in the face, took a piss in the swish, introducing himself by yelling that he was the king of TPB and that we were all "lamers", whatever that is. He stood his ground shouting TPB trivia until one-by-one, we all took turns kicking him in the nuts. Someone slapped a sticker on his head that read "BANNED" and we all returned to rocking out to some old Rush.

I had multiple dreams that I can remember last night. In one of the weirder ones, I was sitting on Conan O'Brien's lap & giving him a foot rub, he was brushing my hair & then gave me a back rub.

I am engaged.. marrying in October.

Last night I dreamed my best guy friend other than my fiance was in trouble with the law and needed me to marry him in order for him to get out of trouble.. and I was trying to figure out how to explain it to my fiance.

A few nights ago i dreamed all the city's sewers were overflowing and spewing out onto the street and the whole area was covered in stinking, rotten, festering poo.  When I woke up and told my fiance about it... he said he had taken a rancid dump with the bathroom door open while I was sleeping. 

I told him not to do that anymore.

Dream or nightmare? I had a dream last night that I had been pregnant; I could clearly remember having a pregnant stomach & what it felt like to have a baby in there. I don't remember a baby hanging around me though. For someone who doesn't want kids, this was a little bit of a freaky dream.

As a side note, I had my palm read when I was around 12 & it has been predicted that I won't have kids. (Oh, plus I'll be married twice, or in 2 very significant relationships, so I'd better get a move on!)

My friends and I have come to the conclusion that smoking dope keeps you from entering full R.E.M., though enough alcohol seems to get me there, can anyone else comment on this?

Lots of things influence your dreams in many different ways. Bet the smoking dreams are less violent and less disturbing than alcohol induced dreams. I know my dreams are different when I haven't puffed or drank.

I heard it was that drinking heavily will prevent you from dreaming.  If you go too long drinking and not dreaming you will get the DTs, which is where you dream when you are awake.

I actually don't ever dream or remember dreams or whatever, which if it's the first one is a pretty bad thing from what I've gathered.

Was hoping some of you dreamer types could enlighten me .

I mean used to dream, but seems like since picking up the smoking habit a couple years back I remember almost nothing from my dreams, especially visually.

Last night I dreamed I was a presenter on Top Gear, and we were filming a special. I was travelling in some expensive super car with Jeremy Clarkson, and we had to do various challenges (most seemed to involve being at gas stations and arguing).

At the end of the shoot, we retired to the hotel. Problem was, due to BBC cutbacks we had to share bedrooms - and despite my plea to share a room with Richard Hammond, I ended up with Clarkson... who proceeded to walk around the hotel bedroom stark NAKED.

I think I woke up crying.

I once did a study on lucid dreaming and I remember reading somewhere that taking lots of vitamins B6 and B12 will help improve your dream recall memory.

I had that weird fucking dream where I needed to call someone; one of my boys were missing and I think I was trying to call my mom to come help me, and I kept dialing the phone wrong! I've had this dream before and I HATE it! I have issues with insomnia, so when I do get to sleep I don't want to wake up angry and frustrated! 

...I need to indulge more. Less frustration, or at least you don't care as much.
