guess we are not using up too much bandwidth posting such huge pics in our posts? if you tell me how to post my desktop, i'll take a crack at it (though one could just post the desktop background pic in smaller form,by putting it out on the web at a place like photobucket, eh?) -F.O.- some interesting golden oldies - my daughter knows as much or more about classic rock as me. - so - do what or which?

Yeah, pretty much the same here. I get up late and work late, my wife gets up early and turns in early, so i stagger down to the basement, etc. - Ghost how do i post my friggin desktop? or should we just show a little pic of the background - i mean you'd think BK would know if it's kosher or not, eh?

BB,

With everything minimized on your desktop, press the PRINT SCREEN button on your keyboard. Then, open PAINT and click EDIT - PASTE. This should paste it into Paint for you. Then click FILE - SAVE AS but make sure to change the extension from bmp to jpg. when done then upload to whatever image host you use.

hope that helps

Things aren't considered to be so big now,as they used to be... depends on how this site is built... they'll have to tell us if we're getting obtrusive..........

Really nice Ben. Are you buddhist?[SP?]

I really like how that red vine is making its way around the statue. Very peaceful shot.

I'll post one once I can get windows working for a solid week without re-installing :)  (been working on a all-in-one unattended boot dvd that installs windows & all my apps & settings & desktop, etc..) The good news being I'm getting really good at backing up my files quickly & effectively.

Is anyone here running a replacement windows environment, like litestep or anything? or linux desktops?
