That is a classic 3 color oil projection motion lamp, like you see in old 1960's movies and concerts, or Austin Powers or something (picture silhouettes of go-go dancers in front of that- my I've had my fun with that light). I have a large collection of trippy mood lighting, disco balls, oil lamps, ultraviolet lights, lava lamps, glitter lamps, color changing rope lights, basically don't come into my place with your pupils dialated unless you expect to be drooling in the floor.....The lamp is a little behind her (I had to brighten this photo some to show her pretty face)- I believe she is 9 now, very healthy and sweet, though she will totally kick your ass if you push her buttons-- and can behead a bunny rabbit like no kitty I've known! The rest of her time is spent purring in a sweet little pile in your lap.
