Reviews are starting to come in......no really great reviews yet.  Gothem Racing and Call of Duty 2 look like the games to get so far.  Anyone else getting a 360?

Probably gonna hold off for a ps3, blu ray and all that, tho the price is going to be steep as fuck.. But those games look too tasty!  :shock:   Still got my modded xbox, awesome thing it is, but these days i seem to be just collecting instead of using them, games and consoles lol.

Incidentally, did you hear the ps3 cell processor will only be using 7 of the 8 cores?  They can't get the 8th to work or something, interesting times indeed, considering i used to play Zork text adventures on the Commodore 64...  You are facing south... lol.  :lol:

Yah Ive been saving up.  PS3 isnt coming out for awhile so Ill have lots of time to save up for that too.  I dont buy many games I just wait for the modchips  :beeer:

Yeah, me too, will have my psp running iso images off my 2gb mem stick when it arrives lol.  All set and waiting. 
The games do look amazing tho, was just watching the pg3 vid, awesome to see game developers using motiojn blur realistically now, look out the sides of the car windows at the scenery, amazing.  Damn, wish i could afford both, but in reality i should even be looking lol, where there's a will there's a way.  How much does a 360 retail in canada for?  Not even sure when theey come out here, must be in tiime for xmas surely... :shrugs:

Next Tuesday it comes out for 399$ Cnd.  for the barebones one and 499 for the one with a hard drive and wireless controller/chargable battery pack and an ethernet cable/xbox live for a year but theres piles of stores with different combinations of items for their packages.

Oh shit, that's arright, bout the same as the first one on debut.  Thought it was going to be $600 USD, good news indeed.  Now here's hoping the ps3 isn't $1000 USD  :shock:

I read an article saying that Sony has just patented technology which could enable the Playstation 3 disks to only run on one machine... therefore no pre-owned games... I think that would be a huge downfall for Sony if they decided to use it on the PS3.

Holy Flying Fack!!  I got to play the 360 yesterday at work and all i can say is...AMAZING we got to play call of duty 2 and amazing graphics but we were also playing it on the black 52" Plasma TV but im getting one got it at the store but since its a new product and its big i dont get a discount for 2 weeks so i think i can wait 2 more weeks to save 225 buxs :)

Some dude walked out of Best Buy in London Ontario today with his X Box 360 and as he was going to put it in his van he got jumped by some guy and got his sytem stolen right out of his hands.

He tried running after him, but this guy was a bit of a gimp (major hearing and vision impairments) and some employees of the store seen what happened and gave chase as well.  The guy ran to the Whit Oaks Mall and dropped the system outside....cops were called and they secured all entrances to catch the guy.

I don't know if they did or not.

How fuckin' low can you go eh?  fuck! :?

As a former playstatian, theoriginal xbox controller sucked ass, but the controller 'S' is modelled after the 'S'ony...well worth the do-over....come to the future my friend.... :beeer:

I liked both versions of the controller, the original was awesome for racing games, and no hand cramp, like i get with the smaller controllers, fingers have to double up on themselves to press the buttons :? ..psp anyone?... I use only the controller s on my pc tho lol.  Hey, the 360 are meant to be compatible with pc too eh?  Does that mean that it comes with a usb convertor or are the 360 connections usb? I spose i'll see what the pricing is like come ps3 debut, but def want in on the cell cpu action...  Must've been proven as acgi rendered by now, but did anyone see that clip of motorstorm?  Yes please!! :O

I was off work for 3 weeks (I work at Costco)  and today was my first day back.  I started at 9:45  with a 10am opening.  The manager gathers the staff together for a quick rundown of how they were handling the growing lineup outside for the release of Xbox360.  Our store only had 18! So before they opened the door, the first 18 in line received a slip for the Xbox.  So they had lots of tills open, and we were busy for about 10 minutes and then after we just stood around.  It was pretty funny.

Read where one guy was selling an email address xbox360forsale@yahoo or something but he had his ad set up like he was selling an xbox and he had bids up over 1100US.

Just picked up Call of Doodie 2 it was the last copy ebworld had.  Walmart was sold out of copies.

Now just waiting for the postgirl to drop off my system at the drug store cause I missed the delivery.
