This thread raises another question: is it cool for 14-year-olds (or younger, who knows) to be at this site? I'm slightly weirded out by that, personally, but then again Trinity's not even 14... I guess I'm just surprised you guys don't even have disclaimers or anything.

Kids these days(12 to 13 year olds) know more than most adults do:)

I was worse at 12 than most 'kids' entering college.  I wouldn't sweat it, if it was too much for them to handle they wouldn't be fans of the show to begin with.  I think sometimes time blurs our memories a touch.  I would be a bit freaked if there were kids under 10 here, but if you think about it it was only a century ago that people were commonly married by 16 or so...  We have a distorted modern vision of adulthood now that medicine has prolonged life so drastically.

Hee hee, no.  OH no i'm approaching the 10 post limit, I hope I don't get a written warning!  -Anyway though, since it's become part of the topic, and since this is under the 'Sunnyvale Suggestions' section, I think a front page disclaimer is a good idea, not so much for the kids, as to make parents and other adults feel more comfortable.  And for possible legal?  I know nothing of Canadian law I confess... But we all know how easy it is to click on the "yes of course I'm 18" button on websites- they aren't there for keeping kids out, they're there for making parents and lawmakers feel more comfortable about themselves and their habits.  In my humble opinion.

Well, I'm 35 and my daughter is 14 so its a bit weird to be on a forun with someone her age .However I really don't mind because I can still remember what it's like to be a teen.Besides I have known many adults who act less mature than many teens!
I would have loved TPB when I was that age but I got by with The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers ("dope will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no dope").They are the original Trailer Park Boys except that they lived on Trashview Drive , not a trailer park.

Word to Zap Comix and the Furry Freak Brothers.  --All I had for stoner comedy was Mystery Science Theater 3000.  And Sid and Marty Croft... anyone remember those nightmares of the '70's?  And they were MEANT for children (shudders, scarred for life by the Boogaloos)

Real mature there, fuck_offer. Shitrock wasn't even flaming you; you simply interpreted it that way. He posed a legitimate (at least in my view) question and you've evidently taken offense, at least judging by the way you flew off the handle. Don't get so worked up, bro. That'll just lead to blood pressure problems later on in life. It's all good. Lates.

If I was your 14 year old daughter I would have already been stealing your stash and your pornos for two years. No lie people, badass 12 year old trailer goths on the loose!  I think it's time for this thread to die.

'Kay, I better clarify what I was trying to say here. I wasn't trying to flame fuck_offer or suggesting minors leave the boards or anything like that. I was just wondering how everybody felt about younger people being on this website.

I'm sorry if I offended, but I've got to say that if you want to prove that teenagers are as intelligent and capable of understanding "adult" content as older people are, a good way to start is to defend your position and not attack anyone who disagrees with you.

That is too bad fuck_offer, you seemed like a pretty descent guy. Maybe you should stick around for a while and don't let the small stuff get to you.

There's no problem having younger people on the forum like BK.  Age doesn't matter on the Internet.  But when you get a really immature kid like fuck_offer who thinks everyone is attacking him then you have a problem.

Everyone here is welcome. Shitrock, it's all cool that you expressed your opinion and that it was never meant as an attack--fine. So lets all calm down. If there are some of you who do not like a particular feature or member, you can delete your account and not return.
