I'm not sure if General Chat is the right spot for this, but...

There's a site called frappr! that let's members of a group place themselves on a global map so everyone can see where everyone else is. So I started one for TPB.org:

All you have to do is enter your username, location (zip code if in US, if elsewhere click on "Not in US?" link - ok so it's not quite Canada-friendly), and then add a shout out and (optional) picture. You can then scroll around the world, zoom in and out, and see who's where.

edit  Nice pics too man, what a heritage rich place it must be to live in, still love those pics you posted of that huge street party/mardi gras you posted n the "what was your summer project" or whatever it was, holy crap i love that llighting along that river *bailey makes a whistle noise
hehehe, who's the mad fellah in the garden bed bit over the railing in the river shot?  lol hard when i zoomed that pic, didn't see him in it on the thumbnail.

And the pic in whats your summerproject is at the same place as the one where you see the bridge in the back! only then they build a stage on the river and widen the bays with floathing "bars"

huh, funny you should say oasis, cause that's what the city's moniker is, "MountIsa, the oasis in the outback" lol

Yeah, as soon as i saw those buildings along the river there recognised them from your street parties, too nice.  Every city needs an awesome river running thru it, unfortuantely ours is bone dry 90% of the year lol.

And sheonoichan, i'm presuming you have admin skillz for that?  Please feel free to delete that double pic i did of the stack across the bridge, apologies for crapping it up already...


Goddammit, been a long day and already had too much too drink, but i'll be spanked with a red herring if i can figure out how to add an avatar, whenever i add a photo it just adds it to the group photos, and seonachin, the first pic i posted of the stack, delete that one if you can, cheers buddy.

Bailey, I deleted your pic as requested.

tan, was Moncton really the closest town to you? I think the search function may be a bit buggy. I'm not sure exactly where you are or how far a hour of driving gets you on any road other than the Trans-Canada, but it does list some places to the N and W of DVS's crib, like Sussex, Bouctouche, Chatham, etc.

I should add a general disclaimer that, although I'm the "administrator" of this map, it has no relation to tpb.org. There is no requirement that you be a member here to add yourself to the map. I did this on my own (it took all of 90 seconds) and if any of the officials here want to take it over or delete that's fine.

In terms of your own info and photos, there apparently isn't a way to edit these, even for the admin. So if you want a "do over", just let me know and I can delete your info and you can start fresh.

Ok I just added some more photos. This time of my home state or Oregon. The only thing is last night I was on my laptop and entered the photos under (I think) DavidB Bubbles, This mornin' on my desktop I entered them under DavidB_Bubbles. So I hope this does not cause and glitches.  :beeer:  :P

Dam david beautiful nature you got there, must be hard to keep the backyard in order.

And it almost  looks like JApan to me , with that mountain in the background. Only thing thats missing is godzilla
