I started using scoobysnack, just because it was kind of catchy and had a double meaning.  When you suck ash through a pipe, you just ate a scoobysnack.

Reboot was a cool show. It happens to have been made here in vancouver back in the day. I thought hexidecimal was the coolest or maybe that codemaster guy in the one episode.

I always wanted to be like Sarah Michelle Gellar (SMG) but that that was not cool so I asked the TPB writers to come up with something with those letters and they thought up shit machine gun for me.  Great guys.

I've been using this screen name consistently for the past 6 years with many forums and online games. It's derived from a song I really enjoyed at the time.

Screen Names

In an outside conversation,s someone mentioned that I must have chosen my screen name because I had the "hots" for Julian (JP).  They were fairly surprised when I answered, "No".
That got me wondering how other people came up with their screen names.

The truth is that someone ELSE came up with my screen name. The guy I was with BEFORE the husband guy bore a striking resemblance to JP and more specifically to JULIAN. Steve, was 6 foot and change tall, with dark hair, light eyes and a killer body...specifically his chest and arms. He also sported a goatee...which I was none to fond of at the time. He was also a major gear head! That guy LOVED cars, fast cars, old fast cars, new fast cars....he loved cars. He also loved his Labatt's Blue. Anytime I saw him outside (usually working on a car), or we went out, he got a can of Labatt's Blue. His hair was shorter, he often time wore those "gas station" attendant type shirts and always had sunglasses on the top of his head...and his eyes were green, not blue...he still looked VERY Julian-eaque.

ANYWAY, he worked with my now husband's best friend so that's how I met my husband but when I was with Steve, there were THREE of us in the relationship. Steve, me and his freakin' car! I swear to gawd, that car was his wife and I was the mistress. It got old quick. (Steve didn't have "Julian's" good heart either...he wasn't mean just SO self absorbed!) So, when we started watching the show, the husband guy's best friend made a comment that I must like the show because Julian looks so much like Steve; that I ,in fact, probably had a huge crush on Julian and that I could be his American Girlfriend! So basically they were teasing me. It was the husband guy that actually coined the phrase, "Julian's American Girl".

The truth is, I love ALL the guys for various reasons, but if I were to have a greasy couple of hours with any of them, it would be RICKY (Robb). He is much more my type, tall with the reddish/dark blonde/light brown sorta wavy hair, blue eyes, fair skin...plus, I love funny guys. I've often thought about changing my screen name to just JAG, but I don't know how...

SO that is my story. Anyone else got one?
~Sarah~

Interesting story. I bet we all have at least one friend that really reminds them of one of the characters. I have friend that looks just like Ricky and acts like him too. He's tall, hefty, pompadour hair same facial hair as Ricky, he's obnoxious and loud and loves to get drunk and high and insult people. JAG he may be your dream man, JK. I also have a friend that looks a lot like Trevor and he gets picked on and people walk all over him. He's cool though.
Any ways I chose my name because several other awesome TPB names were already taken. I am a big time pot/hash head and the hash plot line of season 5 is really funny to me. I often try to hide my hash in very obvious places since most people in Texas are not familiar with it.(for legal purposes let me remind everyone that I don't do drugs at all and this is all just part of my overactive imagination) :6paper:

My nickname comes from my love of music, particularly hiphop. When I was Age 5 (in 1982), I got enough birthday money to buy my first hiphop album. It was some cheesy compilation put out by K-Tel, but "I let my tape rock 'til my tape popped!".

There was an MC who originally came out as Intelligent Hoodlum. He now goes by Tragedy/Tragedy Khadafi. He's a rapper from Queensbridge (NYC). His initial style was a dichotomy of a dude from the projects in NYC and someone striving to gain knowledge of self. There's a lot of Five Percenter type of stuff in his first couple of albums.

I first heard him when the video dropped for the remix of 'Grand Groove'. The song is purely a remembrance and dedication to people who have passed away. He regrets the hell he put his parents through, and he takes time out to solely thank them for the time he had with them while they were on Earth.

As with most hiphop, it was the beat that hooked me. It has an awesome piano loop to kick it off. My father committed suicide in 2002. About two months later, I found that song when I was digging in my crates. It was one of those songs that you listen to so you can work through the emotions and the confusion. It's now a song that gets in me in the mindset of the first warm day of Spring.

You can hear the song and watch the video here:

"I understand you're going back to the essence, but I still miss your presence."

Grand groove is your life, how it flows, the 360 degrees of cradle to grave. I liken it to watching the record make its full rotation on the turntable.

When I was signing up, my computer kept shutting down so I had to keep doing it over. Every name I picked said it was already in use. This one worked so I kept it.

Now then.... I've been known since the age of 4 as "Spiff" , and 'spiffsta' seemed a good 'handle'.

My actual REAL name is "Stormhammer Deathclaw Firebrand". True. Google it if in doubt!

it's my punk rock name.a punk rock name is either 1 word that has nothing to do with you(slim for a fat guy, lefty for some one right handed, etc).or a bastardization(is that a word?) of your first name and some shitty band you were in is the last name. :6paper:
