What is the story behind your screen name?
« on: Oct 07, 2005, 04:32 AM »
Somebody mentioned this in Inflatable Elvis's request for a new name. So WTF here goes.
Mine comes from a song title by a Danish rock band. And it is said that everyone has a doppelganger, a twin, somewhere in the world. If this is true I have to be the evil twin just because of my life so far. I was quite a shithead when I was younger. To qoute The VonBondies " You really havent lived life yet if you ain't got no regrets" A great Canadian band IMHO 8)

I shouldn't touch this one with a 10 foot pole, with Cyrus on the other end. Else you'd all think I'm crazy :)

Obviously I stole my name from Ol Dirty Bastard....(R.I.P) But I'm sure he is down with me (wherever he is)  upholding the "Dirtyness" that has to be portrayed by anyone bearing the OD name... Think of me as the White ODB...with no musical talent (but some might say he didn't have any musical talent either...BUT THEY ARE WRONG!!!!!)
That's enough for the bullshit story...the real reason...I just don't shower!!!

Thanks Evil Twin!

I have a bad liver and the only thing that can cure it is a transplant but the waiting list is very long. I will be a lucky person to get a transplant but the way my doctors act and say i maybe 6 foot under before that happens.

You have to play the cards your delt in life so i deal with that in a positive manner. No sence crying about it and being all sad about it.  8)

I did however have to fight for my right to use mj as a medicine but it did pay off for me.

I do thank you Evil Twin for your concern, I wish you the best in life bro :tokin:

I can sympathize Mr. 420. I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer in 2001. :( A serious illness is something I wish no one had to go through at any point in their life. Best of luck to you, and keep the positive attitude,it helps more than people imagine as I am sure you well know. Every time I blaze one I will dedicate at least one toke to you. :stoned: :6paper: :toke:

Im Canadian and my first email address was canuckguy@home.com when 33.6k modems were the fastest you could get.   I believe Canuck was already used so I added a guy to the end.  Then I signed up for other sites using it and eventually used it for a long time before shaw bought videon cable.  I use Irishdrunk, Drunkcelt, and Canuckguy for usernames.

I always wondered what shakes username means.  (its not pot related)

Clears up a question for me! I know Irishdrunk from bbcamerica. I refuse to use caps on their call letters!! They pissed me off

Mine is a character on SCTV; Melba the Disco Queen teaches people how to dance on Mel's Rock Pile, plus she has a brand of jeans with her name stitched on the bum that makes people dance. I've been using it since I got internet, & I've really grown into it (however I do lack the real Melba's smooth dance moves).

That's right CG shake is a nickname I earned back in Jr. High. It is not a terribly interesting story but here it goes. Back then we used to have a time of the day where you could order milk products, why I don't know. There was one guy that would always order 2 milk shakes and I would always say to him as a joke you're not going to drink that other milk shake you should give it to me. We had one guy in our class that was great at doing impressions. Not of famous people but our teachers. He started doing an impression of me doing my milk shake shtick. People liked it and he would do it whenever he saw me. People just started calling me shake. I never really minded because I have a common first name and this helped avoid confusion with the other guys at school with my name. Later on that year someone decided to do an illegal run to milk office during our Library class. I got them to get me a shake. Anyway I was sitting down relaxing reading a magazine and trying to hide my shake when I got caught by the teacher. I ended getting the strap, but I didn't squeal on the guys who got the order. The friends I know from those days still call me shake.

Sorry to disappoint all you pot and Teenage aqua force, or whatever you call it, fans.
