Now that's a killer ride. My Martens are my prefered mode of transportation, too. I just had the heels of my Martens worked on last week so that I can get more use out of them. Martens are hard to find in Canada these days. I think if my shoes ever reached a point where the wear and tear was too much to salvage, I would have to take a trip to Portland, Oregon to get me a new pair. I was looking at the online store to see if I could get a new pair shipped to me, but they won't ship to Canada. I've gotten four years out of my Martens so far. I hope to get four more.

As far as cars go, I don't drive one. In fact, I have no intention of ever owing a car. I would much rather live in a centralized location and walk or ride my bike everywhere I want to go. Plus, I look at it this way: real estate typically appreciates in value, while automobiles typically depreciate in value. The sound investment is go with the property. It is cheaper in the long run, too.

I drive a 4 door 1994 Pontiac Sunbird LE....A.K.A "DA BIRD!!!"  fairly reliable, broke down twice in one day...that's about it.  Bought it for $800 bucks off some old guy in the country...

My collection is dwindling since I sold some of them. :(

All I have left are:

1969 VW Beetle
1969 VW Squareback stationwagon
1973 Porsche 914
1982 VW Vanagon
1988 Suzuki Samurai
2001 Daewoo Leganza
2002 Daewoo Lanos hatchback
2005 Suzuki GZ250 motorcycle

There are so many more toys I want, yet too little space to keep them .... until I buy more land!

I need (lol) a Dodge Ram 1500 4 door, long bed, 4x4 with towing package, a Porsche 550 Spyder,  and a Yamaha V-Star 1100 cruiser motorcycle. A black 1989 Porsche 911 wide body turbo convertable would be nice in the collection, too.

Hi All.

'98 Chev Cavalier 2 door.  Eggplant purple in color.  Total mom-mobile...base engine, base transmission, no options at all (I broke down and put in a CD player last fall 'cuz I couldn't deal with the shittiness of Toronto radio stations in general)  My then-fiancee (now wife) bought it 4 years ago when she did a contract up in Sudbury and didn't want to take Greyhound back to the GTA every weekend.  Been very reliable (almost 180K) redone the clutch and had the water pump go, that's it.

Cheers!

I have a 2003 Intrepid...which by standards is a fairly nice car, however I hate the fuckin thing. Not for any other reason then its a family fuckin lookin car. My last car was a 2 door sporty car with all the toys, and the fuckers who stole it must have thought so too. Im hoping to get a new car within the year, how sweet would an Eclipse or a Solstice be, thats what I have my eyes on!!
