Man, there sure has been alot of bad shit happening to some of our fine members. Drunk as Fuck's Caddy getting stolen and then his summer car getting totaled, Baileys accident in January(?), and now Bajjers. Glad your OK Bajjer.
All good choices for replacement rides, may I suggest the new VW GTI. I'm not sure if its available in North America yet, however. Mazda is also applying the Mazda Speed treatment to the 3. Not sure when that is going to be for sale in North America. So I guess I wasn't any help at all.  :-s

I agree, ET. The VW GTI is my latest "car crush." I've been seeing the commercials the last couple of weeks and I must say, if the GTI was a person, and I weren't already married, I'd marry it.

Well.. I formerly drove just about anything a 150 bucks could buy. However, due to legal reasons I have to wait untill 2007 before I may legally own another car. I think i'll buy a $200 dollar car then. My last car was a Citroen Visa diesel. It got impounded by the cops. When they tried to take it to the impound they couldn't drive it ,because it only had 3rd gear. Cops huh?  'They' tried to make me pay for the towing fee or I would lose "my precious" car. The fee was just under $250, so I decided that they just bought themselfs a new shitmobile.

I drove a few motorcycles after that though. But that wasn't really the question, was it.

Yes, the VW GTI is f'in fantastic looking vehicle this is a next generation VW, I would wait until the 2008 model comes out because VW is notorious for making a few major mistakes that are refined with the following years model.  I don't know if I am a fan of the way the grill is shaped.  As well, the engine, at least on the vw.ca site, only offered a turbo charged 4-banger, which is not the best engine you would want under the hood.  It looks sleak, it looks fast... it looks great!  :guns:

Brandt: You never went to college...

The Dude: Oh, no I did, but I spent most of my time occupying various administration buildings... smoking a lot of thai stick... breaking into the ROTC... and bowling. To tell you the truth Brandt, I don't remember most of it.

The WRX Sti's are nice cars bajj, used to drive my bosses turboed model around town alot, fuck me they move.

I've been thinking (when i say thinking i ofc mean dreaming) about the Lancer EVO 8, just as fast as a Ferrari around the race track, for a pitance.  The acceleration is gooood.  Or a RX8 with the Mazda Speed bodykit, tres nice cars, only $60,000 AUD for that aswell, i think the EVO is cheaper again!

And the topic isn't just about cars, feel free to post anything about/pics of anything with wheels on it.

She is getting new skin.  After sitting all that time the stone chips on the hood rusted... All else was checked out by the dealer with flying colours, so I am not worried....The rotors are being machined too cuz they accumulated a little rust too....  I'll post pics later this week  :D

Funny thing as I was checking out this thread the phone rang and it was the salesman from the Chev dealership here in town.  I am in the market for a new vehicle now that my house in Dartmouth sold.  I am leaning toward a Chevy Equinox or a Pontiac Torrent.  Basically the same vehicle, now I just have to see if he can get me the options I want and at the price I want....I hate haggling with salesmen over this shit.  Hubby loves it...I should just make him do it!
My God...what a drunk horror show!

SHITTY.  I think they just make you peel it off in front of them here if they feel it's too dark.  My buddy had his Civic Wagon done with 5 and had some in the front with a cut out but it made the inside dark and the cops couldn't see him through the drivers door.  They made him peel it off or he would have gotten a fine.

Don't need demerits or probation.

The back is ok, just the front.  Most vehicles come with stock rear tinted windows.  Most cops like to be able to see the driver too.  Both my vehicles are impossible to see into the back window.

I love our "mini van" 4 of the side windows and the rear are tinted , just the two front sides and the windshield are clear. When you head back to the rear bench seat , you can do anything  ;) without being seen  :perv1: :weedsmiley: :boobies: :moon:
