Don't know if there's any aussies on here that follow the NRL, my team the dragons lost yesterday, so hoping my "local" team, (9 hrs away) can beat the minor premiers the Parramatta Eels to make it to their first NRL final.
Go Cowboys!!

Half time and the cowboys are up 3 converted tries to nil.  Oos.    Coincedently, went to boarding school with Jacob Lillyman, who is playing right now, a mate from the boarding side of things, a most decent lad, very down to earth, as are mos tof us qlder's, lol.

Go Jim Beam, you good thing!

29 to nil, now that's what i'm motherfuckin talkin about dawg! Yeeeeah!  lol they were just interviewing Brett Furman and one of the eels shoulder charged him on the way past, all you could here was hey fuck you fuck fuck lmao, great stuff!

Oh yeah, the captain of the tigers, the other team in the final, their captain Scott Prince is from Mt Isa, where i'm at.  Nathan Fien from the NZ warriors is from here too, went out with his sister way back in the day.  :D

Anyone know Greg Norman or Patrick Rafter, golf and tennis respectively, they're both from here too.  Not bad for a town with less than 20,000 peeps, lol.

Souths had a good team this year, glad they didn't get the wooden spoon (for a change :))

Bails is actually my nickname, nice one knock knock.

Pretty rat shit at the mo, moved onto the bundy.

LOL poor old Jacob didn't even end up playing, hope it's not due to his ankle, and just poor form, lol.

Too bad that Melbourne or Victoria doesn't have a victory song that I can sing. But don't panic 'cos I can sing the theme to the Shell Rimula X TV ad from the eighties:

Sung in Country and Western style:

Shell Rimula X
The oil that protects
All kinds of diesel engines
Gettin' around, tilling the ground
Preparing for cultivation....'COS
The Oil's really strong
The diesel lasts long, needs little maintainin'
Shell Rimula X
The oil that protects - The difference is the savings.

When the harvest is on and the hours last long
Remember the lubrication(!!!)
Shell Rimula X
The oil that protects
It's ur diesel preservation!!!!!!!

Someday I'll have to sing u the 'Cobram-Barooga Golf Club' Jingle from the eighties.

...Ahh fuck it - HERE WE GO!!

At the Cobram-Barooga Golf Club!

We've got the good times bring all your friends
I'ts all here for you, yeah the smiles never end
Your Murray River playground is waiting for you
we'll bring on the good times its so good to do!

At the Cobram-Barooga Golf Club!
Now's the time to - add a little excitement.. to your life.

Note the use of the word 'good' twice in one sentence. That's a very bold lyric.

Right, and so it starts...

You can get it rollin
you can get it goalin
you can get it feedin a fire
a hard earned thirst deserves a big cold beer
and the best cold beer is vic
A LONG COLD VIC
it can come at anytime,
Dishin up chow, or showin em how,
matter of fact, i got it now.

Vic Bitter.

DOn't know what happened to the longer version?

Here;s the rest
You can get it jumpin'
You can get it pumpin'
You can get it pressin' a suit
A hard earned thirst needs a big cold beer
And the best cold beer's VIC
A LONG COLD VIC
You can get it liftin'
You can get it shiftin'
You can get it any old how
Matter o' fact, I got it now

VIC BITTER!

*Disclaimer, i do not drink VB, i do not endorse you to drink, nay do not recommend you drink VB, and i'm sure the other Aussies on said forum feel the same way.  Fosters, Booo! :)

I'm 26 - and this programme along with Monkey influenced my childhood more than anything else. Why is it not available in english on DVD? That's a fucking great question.

LMAO indeed bro it is, monkey magic, man, growing up i thought it was a dude, but always felt this strnage attraction to him, thought i was having gay thoughts ,but as i got older i realised it was a chick with a shaved hed, trippitaka!  Man, if i'd been older at the time it would have been a very confusing time, lol.  But even at that age i was relieved as fuck it was a chick, hmm, this post could be read out of context lol, but hey, who cares.?
